I tried quite a few more advanced hair catcher and stoppers. Most involved installation, all had metal parts, and the prices were usually not the cheapest. But if you want just to stop the drain, these are probably the most basic and the most low-cost solution.I won't call them "universal", as there is a possibility of larger drain holes, but these worked just fine for me. When I put one in the drain, it seemed to go all the way in. I thought it was small and would leak, but it didn't. The shape shows that it could fit a large variety of hole sizes, but make sure it is not small for yours. Since it is silicone, you can force it in, in smaller drain holes, to make sure of a tight fit.Overall, they work great. You normally don't need 3 of these at a single go, but still pack of 3 for $9 CAD at the time of writing is not a price to discuss much. In addition, having them in three different colors is also nice.
