Q: I heard niacinimide cancels out when combined with acidic ingredient such as Vit C, retinol, salicylic acid. Has anyone else heard of this?

It’s common advice from dermatologists that you should never combine glycolic or salicylic acid with vitamin C. . Google the interaction when combining vitamin C . I have copied and pasted a messages dermatologist. Don't mix… vitamin C and acidic ingredients, like glycolic or salicylic acid. Like Wee says, it's all about the pH! ... So using them with acidic ingredients like glycolic or salicylic acid can alter its pH, which can reduce the effectiveness of your vitamin C.Jan 14, 2021

Q: Did this break anyone else out? I put it in my face and it broke me out.

It may also depend on what moisturizer you used with it. My first two times using it with a Clinique moisturizer my entire face broke out in an allergic reaction. This week I’m using it at night and then a Baebody moisturizer in the morning and my skin looks great!!

Q: Is this product non-photosensitive?

Vitamin C may help reverse sun damage, but it is known to decrease the melanin in your skin, meaning you are more susceptible to sun damage and premature aging. No products containing high concentrations of vitamin C are non-photosensitive :(

Q: Este producto se puede usar de día y de noche ?

El Acido Hyaluronic, la Vitamina C y Niacinamide se pueden usar de dia, pero este producto tambien tiene retinol y el retinol se debe de usar de noche. En mi opinion, este serum tiene demasiados ingredientes activos que se deberian de usar a diferentes tiempos, y por ende puede causar irritacion si tu piel no esta acostumbrada. Yo usaria un serum de vitamina c y otro de niacinamide en la mañana. Buscaria un producto en crema con hyaluronic acid para usar mañana y noche, y usaria retinol por las noches. The ordinary tiene un serum de niacinmaide y otro de retinol a un precio muy economico y con menos riesgo de irritacion. La Roche-Posay tiene un serum de 15% Vit C que es muy bueno, y Lilyane Naturals tambien tiene un serum de Vitamina C. Tambien podrias usar una mascarilla de acido salicylico dos veces por semana en las noches para combatir el acne.
