Panasonic Z85 Series (2024 Model) 65-inch OLED 4K Ultra HD Smart Fire TV, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+ Adaptive, 120Hz Refresh Rate - 65Z85AP

This TV is an insane deal. right around 1100 dollars for a 65" OLED is wild. The picture quality is absolutely wonderful and sits right up there with the LG models that are hundreds of dollars more expensive. Brightness is good, but I would be wary of using this TV in a very bright room. The FireTV interface is absolutely fine. My only issue with this TV, and it's probably just some feature that I have not uncovered, is that even with adaptive brightness turned OFF I will suddenly have content become noticeably dimmer. This is prevalent after an Ad or other screen-overlay content appears over a YouTube video. That issue aside, it's so great to have an option for an affordable OLED TV from a company like Panasonic, who years ago was known for their high quality TVs.One note, and I won't ding my review score for the TV for this, Amazon TV delivery is an absolute gamble. The delivery people do not show the same care for delivering these items that companies like Costco and Best Buy will. Generally, TVs are supposed to stay upright in the box when delivered. My TV was upside down and leaning between two other heavy packages in the delivery truck. Everything ended up fine, but it would be nice to have some confidence that the delivery items are better secured in the truck during transit.

Recently upgraded from a 17 year old Panasonic 720p plasma to the 55" Z85A OLED and the difference absolutely blew me away. The black levels, brightness, contrast, range of color spectrum, fidelity and detail are incredible, and I'm pretty particular when it comes to that stuff. 4K UHD and standard Blu-rays via the equally impressive Panasonic DP-UB820-K are next level on this TV and even non HD media gets a noticeable upscale boost as well. System settings are very straightforward and uncomplicated. Wanted to stay under 1K (mission accomplished!) and the package arrived with no issues aside from the UPS driver leaving it at the apartment two doors down from me but that wasn't Amazon's fault. I'd been originally eyeballing some of the Hisense HD displays but then noticed Panasonic suddenly appeared on the scene to rave reviews from tech channels and the choice was a no brainer. Superb value and bang for the buck from a tried and true brand, absolutely no regrets about this purchase. Highest recommendation possible!

Great TV for the price. It's a better TV than my friend's LG C3. It's definitely worth the money. It doesn't get extremely bright, but it gets bright enough the Dolby Vison support is nice, and it has excellent sound. It is well-built and super slim. I don't care for Fire TV, but it's not a dealbreaker. The best OLED for the money.I had to get a new remote because mine was defective, and the customer service experience leaves a lot to be desired. Remotes aren't available to purchase, so if your remote goes, and it's not under warranty, you can be left with a TV you can't control. The lack of a replacement remote being available is the one downside to this TV, and it's a big one. Otherwise, the TV is great.

First off it took a couple of tries to get a TV that wasn't damaged during shipping but amazon helped out and made it easy to make sure I got refund or replacement.Once I got a working TV, the picture was worth it. Very bright and crisp after adjusting the picture, and turning off the smooth motion. I see people complaining about the FIRE TV software, and honestly its just like any other tv software, they are all pretty much the same. I don't have any issues with lag or anything, it opens the app and plays movies like its supposed to. The audio seems fine, but I use a soundbar anyways. The remote is basic, once again its fine has the Alexa to talk in it so I can control stuff in my house that have smart plugs, switches etc.So I would more than definitely buy this TV again, mainly because I have a Panasonic LED that I've had since 2012 , and still love that tv, never had any issues.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was time to replace our 15 year old Panasonic 50" plasma TV. I had a newer LG 60" TV giving to me so was using for a few months. It was about 5 years old and all the HDMI Ports died. Probably a solder or Capacitor issue. So I didn't want anything LG after reading a lot of reviews. So to get to the point this TV was a great buy and setup was easy My wife hates the new Netflix menu but loves the TV. It does have a beautiful picture. I like how light it is to handle. After moving those other monsters this one is a breeze. I'm hoping it holds up for a lot of years.

So far its the best TV in my house based on sound, image and overall quality.

This TV has better picture quality, black levels, color accuracy, clarity, sharpness, brightness, and glare compared to the Sony Bravia 8 OLED.. TV is very responsive, quick to navigate through FireOS & I'm a GoogleTV Guy & was nervous having never used FireTV OS but I Trusted Panasonic & after many YouTube TV reviews decided to buy a Brand that has been good to me in the past. No Regrets!! This Panasonic is very much Under Rated. A+++ Processor, Smooth. Kicks my HiSense QLED booty all day, every day. This TV is definitely under rated.
