Mine is accurate. The PH measures 6.98 and my liquid test shows about the same. Temp is within a 1/2 degree of a more expensive meat thermometer.

After proper 3 point calibration and checks against another proven and known value this meter reads incorrectly. When attempting to initiate a return the policy states it cannot be returned. My assumption is because of the pH calibration powder. However, it's already been used and the only thing to return would be the meter itself. It failed on temp and pH readings so I didn't even attempt the salinity because it wasn't worth the hassle. The build quality is good but if it can't perform it's main purpose then it's a paperweight.

I was having problems seeing the subtle differences in color on the pool/spa tester strips and they were also expired and not working correctly. So I decided to upgrade to this digital tester. It works great! Juist keep in mind that you can't turn off the tester while calibrating, and I only completed 2 points of calibration before it shut itself off (didn't know it would do that.) So I suggest having all the calibration soultions prepared ahead of time so that doesn't happen.

Was getting tired of buying bottled water so I put in a Reverse osmosis system. Wanted to know if I wasted my money on it so I bought this to test it. Tested tap water, a few types of bottled water, and my filtered water. My filtered water was the best from everything I tested. Tap water was way high so I'm glad I'm not drinking that.

I tried two others before accepting this Ph tester. This one was the easiest to calibrate, albeit with only the one 6.85 packet supplied. I have stored the distilled water with 6.85 test powder dissolved in it. I will have to find a sources for new Ph powder packets. I use it to test my hottub water and to prepare water for my plants. The tap water is way too high.

I wanted to buy a meter both for TDS and PH and this product seemed an obvious choice since there are either TDS or PH meters, but not both. However, I am really disappointed with this item and had to return it. Very confusing and unclear manual, inaccurate readings and inability to calibrate the item as per the manual - waste of time and money. I ended up buying two separate meters - one for TDS and the other for PH. As for this product, not recommended.

Feel very good quality in hand, mine came out of already calibrated, can do a lot more than just tds meter like other brands I have used especially the pH is very important for keeping fish. Very solid product for the price.
