Works great in my MTD 38" Lawnmower
Works perfect on my Bolens (MTD) 38" mower with Briggs & Stratton Power built 13.5HP engine. Direct fit and no adjustment needed.

The best carburetor
This carburetor works better than all the other carburetors sold on here. (I've bought dozens of other brands and half the time they don't work) This is the second one I've bought and it works great. The only thing I don't like is it doesn't have a shut off solenoid in the carburetor, but I just add a shut off valve in the fuel line. I still give it 5 stars because it works 100x better than the other one I just bought elsewhere.

New carburetor vs rebuild kit
Product is a much better value than a rebuild kit. It was an exact fit & MUCH lower coat than an OEM carburetor from a dealer. One hint to share is that carburetor is NOT pre adjusted. Both adjustment screws need to be adjusted to factory specifications before it will function. Once adjustments are set, it performs as expected.

Installed on my Troy Bilt Pony, 17.5 hp Briggs & Stratton Intek. Purchased a different carb first that was like my factory one, didn’t work, so I bought this one.The problem with the Briggs Intek motors are the fuel cut off solenoid, terrible design. You can get just the solenoid, but I wanted a whole new carburetor, and for the price it’s worth it.I chose this one because it does not have a fuel cut off solenoid. I installed a fuel cutoff switch on the fuel line anyway for when not in use.Worked great and fired right up, and ran strong the whole time.This WILL work if you have a Walbro 4993 carb. Fitment is fine, and ditch that stupid fuel solenoid!

Works right out of the box
Works right out of the box, the needle valve failed after 18 months so I bought another one. so far so good

Perfect direct replacement carb
Installed on large town behind mower with single cylinder. 12.5hp Briggs and Stratton engine. Works perfect starts easy now. Much more cost effective to just buy a new carb vs try n rebuild the old ones these days. Just go with new. Cant beat the price .
