Certified Refurbished Amazon Echo Spot - Black

The media could not be loaded. Works great, amazing value for money, apart from a label on the box, there’s no way to even tell that it’s certified refurbished, comes with the original UK charger, the device itself and the accessories even came with the packing plastics. The device is a very cool addition to any room, only downside is that the speakers are a little weak due to the size of the device, plenty for normal use, but if you’re after mainly music listening, I’d go for the echo dot (I also have a 3rd gen).

Yes it's refurbished but it works has a little problem like it don't play music unless over volume two but it looks good and sound good when it is a alarm clock go's off clean crisp news whether and sport reports but the alarm is loud enough to wake the dead it still shows the words to the song playing as I have more than one amazon device in each room i only use this one to turn off the TV and light when i go to bed but the spot is whisper friendly so it has a nice little speaker and mike ( video of whisper mode and my little problem but love it would not change or repair it )

Got a refurbished one so it was much cheaper, although it looked brand new to me. Easy to setup though it took me a while to find the clock face settings. Works like a dream. Was concerned that it would be too bright at night but the display changes to a more subdued design and there are lots of options, including setting the overall brightness. Handy Device to have and plays music better than expected, though I now have it linked to my Bose Bluetooth speaker and it works like a dream. There is lots to this device that is well documented elsewhere, I just find it indispensable now!

After being thrilled with my Echo Dot 3 I decided to get an Echo Spot for my bedroom. It is a very good clock radio: wakes me up each morning with my favourite Classic FM, and displays the title of the piece being played, as well as the performer. The sound level and quality is adequate, but not as good as my Echo Dot. I chose the 'Certified Refurbished' version in order to save money. Unfortunately it stopped working after one day! But Amazon are always very good with guarantees. They immediately sent me a replacement, which works fine.

The media could not be loaded. I’m a huge fan of Amazon Alexa (I own 2 Echo Dots already) so it was only a matter of time until I purchased the Echo Spot. I’ve had previously good experiences buying Amazon refurbished products (they come fully guaranteed for a year and I’ve never had to return any) and so it was an easy decision to pick this up at a discounted price.Set up, as expected, was seamless and straightforward with the Spot’s touchscreen and I like how you can personalise the background of the clock with your own photos. I think the speakers are very good for use in a small room and the size of the Spot lends itself to either bedside or kitchen countertop.Video works well and the small screen is especially suited for the fantastic screensavers (lots of them with accompanying sounds) that you can find in Amazon skills via the Alexa app. I’ve also been able to stream Amazon Prime movies with no problem.

Bought this to replace my bedroom alarm clock radio and the refurbished model be sure if the price. Must admit I was a bit dubious as to whether it would be ok. But I needn't have worried about it as it was packaged like brand new. All items individually wrapped. Item was spotless with a protective film cover. It was like brand new. The item is compact, packs a great sound for radio, music and alarms. This is so much more than a clock radio. The technology is mind-blowing.

The Alexa itself is good - However when you buy a refurbished Alexa it states you will get a working item - packaged as new.The power adapter provided in the box - was NOT the power adapter for this Alexa. I opened the sealed box & attempted to set up my new Alexa - I tried to plug the power adapter into the unit - no matter how much I tried - the cable would not fit the Alexa I had purchased.In a last attempt I thought I will try my old Alexa power cable ...plugged straight in. I’m now a power cable down for my old Alexa & deeply worried about the damage I may have caused the new Alexa, whilst trying to force the plug provided into the unit.I can not recommend purchasing a refurbished unit, it seems like they just mix & match items & shove them in a box - without actually checking they are compatible.Update on product - still not been provided correct power cable - Live Chat never works & call me back never happens - very fast to take the money but not so fast to correct issues when correct item not provided.

Update 25 July 2919:Sadly Amazon is less proactive to your many reviews on WiFi issues & wait for you to contact even though they know it’s a widely know glitch - I strongly Advise you to actually call them verbally & you will then be heard.Background to today conversation. (No need to read if you have the same problem just call them)Again I contacted amazon customer service online - gave & explained again the whole issue & gave details .. in the end they asked for my number & said he would call me back.I had a call from a different agent they had to go through the script of my last conversation.They looked at fixes again .. then advised me they would replace my device .. the good thing is it will arrive the next day.. the tiresome thing is you have to go to your delivery source to send the problem one back...It’s sad they know about the well known WiFi issue but do not proactively deal with their customers . I’m a little angry as I buy a lot of items & other amazon devices which I really like .. shame it took so long .. even if it’s out of warranty... Call them !Previous review when had it a short time Loved it at first & when it works ..Sadly no longer as it keeps losing WiFi connection daily .. looking on other review sites this seems like a common problem or maybe a really big bad batch .. my dot & echo never lose WiFi .... & they are further away from my WiFi point ..I have reported it & amazon are fully aware of the WiFi glitch ... however no response yet if ever ! I hope they read these reviews ..
