What's to say? It's an Apple...
Ordered the Black. Yes, it does attract fingerprints; but when it becomes objectionable just wipe it down with a lens cloth.Experience, speed, and about everything "Just Works".Only complaint, which is nothing new is the lack of expandability (only 2 USB-C Ports), and the 'apple tax' to get storage or RAM upgrades upon initial purchase. But I knew this when I went in, and apple did do good this year by making 16GB standard. (would have loved an option for 24GB RAM and 256GB storage).Very lightweight, solidly built. The 13" is perfect.

Minimum config is an excellent value laptop, mem/disk upgrades pricey, good battery, can get warm
I got the minimum configuration unit--16GB memory and 256GB disk. I'd say the reports are true that circa 2025 this is a great value for a laptop, coming from Apple (though the prices for extending the memory and disk are pretty outrageous for how little of a bump you get, hence why I didn't upgrade.) It's the first time I've had a laptop that can do all-day battery life...how much it uses depends on what you're doing, but it's in a new league and I really can carry it without the charger. The slab design isn't particularly exciting and it's heavier than I expected for the size--I wouldn't describe it as "air" having handled the likes of LG Grams. But in the bargain you get something that feels very sturdy. I think the camera notch at the top is obnoxious and an extremely dated concept, but one gets used to it eventually.Performance-wise it seems to breeze along just fine, and at most tasks (outside of running x86 virtual machines) can beat a nearly-4-year-old ThinkPad P17 high-end workstation laptop with 64GB of RAM. If you do leave it grinding on a task, it can get hot enough that you can even feel it on the keys...which to me is more of an issue than that it throttles and runs tasks more slowly. But I don't use this as a main workstation, it's just a device for "when I need to do an apple thing" (e.g. create builds of computer code to test that they work on Macintosh).I'm happy enough with it--and feel it was a better choice to get this than a M4 mini. I considered the mini, but the convenience of being able to use and administrate it with an attached screen and keyboard just made it worth paying extra to have a little portable device I could apply to more scenarios. Though given that a lot of my work is in Linux Virtual Machines and using lots of memory, it won't be my my daily driver...and even on tasks when the performance can rival/exceed the ThinkPad P17, the keyboard and screen real estate aren't enough for anything but short sessions.

Best laptop I’ve ever had hands down
I am moving from MS to a Mac for the first time. I used to sell and build computers and peripherals and this is by far the best designed and built machine I’ve ever seen. Both hardware and the OS itself are well thought out and simple to use. Very fast, high quality display. Not OLED but easy to view and much less expensive. To me the best of all is that with the flip of one switch I can disable all the AI it has and just run it without. It makes the battery life much longer and it runs faster too.Only bummer is the lack of internal storage, but I’m taking the old m2 drive from my Windows machine and putting it in an enclosure so I’ll be fine.I am very happy with this computer!
