It weems to be a well made product, however of the two I ordered, only one worked as specified. One would turn ON at the max distance, but OFF only if the remove was withing about 10ft. The other worked fine at the specified 80ft.Additional comments: Besten customer service has really stepped up to follow up on customer satisfaction. My assumption now was that one unit experienced some kind of electronics failure. The second one that worked well at installation is still working as described. It is for light in the crawl space (no switch at the entry way door) at a distance of about 50 feet. Although only used occasionally it has always worked at that distance.

This worked right out of the box. I wish they had an option for another lamp unit as the one remote can control several lamps if you sync them up, but the other kits on Amazon had too many things in them that I didn't need. It's fine for the one lamp for which it's set up - across a long narrow room with no overhead lights but it's so handy now I'd like another one.

This was great once I trained my family to use the remote and not the switch on the light. We need a lamp in the far corner of the room and it was a pain to reach behind the couch to turn it on and off. Now we can easily turn the light on and off from where we are sitting/standing.

Lamp is located in a hard to reach location, now I can just push the remote button from anywhere in the room and turn the light on and off easily!

Love this!! I have a light in the back of my basement that needs to be turned on by a pull string. This remote control socket let’s me turn this light on without walking in the dark basement.

Broke first time out bulb in lamp. Very disappointing.

This is the coolest little gadget. Very easy to pair the remote to the fixture. I only needed the one fixture, but I can see the possibility of adding additional ones down the road.

Works great! I had a pull cord light that the cord broke off of; I wanted a switch to control it but didn’t want to do wiring. This was the perfect 5 minute solution. Plug and go
