Good part; giant pain to install.
The part was perfectly fine and serviceable. The one I received was made in China and not a Ford part; that said, I did not expect to get a Ford part. the connectors on this part, in my opinion are actually better than the original part, they have tabs you squeeze in instead of ones that you have to pull up on with a screwdriver or pick. For the installation, it's frustrating, difficult and you'll end up scraped up a good bit. As other have said 90% of your time on this job will be getting the connector that's about halfway down the engine bay on the passenger side of the engine block, first off and then on again; the other two connectors are very easy and accessible. The access area for that third connector is very tight and really in a poor spot. To get it off, I ended up cutting the tubing, twisting the connector and then getting a pick in there and pulling the tab on the connector out. Once that tab is all the way out (not easily done) you can work the connector off.Getting the new part on is pretty straightforward, again except for that connector that is on the side of the engine. Start with that one so that you can manipulate the tubing a little. I worked the connector down, pushed it on with my hand the best I could; I didn't have enough leverage because of the tight space to get the connector fully on. Then, I used a long flat screwdriver (about 14") with a wide, flat head and pushed it on with that kind of using it as a lever against the alternator. The other two connectors just snap on easily. All told it took me maybe and hour and half and I considered giving up on that one connector at least three times. Maybe there is an easier way to get at that thing, like coming up from the bottom of the car, but I really didn't see how it would have been any easier. All in all, not difficult work, just frustrating. Again, perfectly good part, giant pain to install.

Works Great
I threw a check engine code and went to the dealer to see how much it'd cost to be fixed. I was astonished when they declared it'd be $700 I am familiar with working on older vehicles this being the newest iv'e ever owned. (2014 Ford Fusion 2.0L Eco-Boost). When i found the part so much cheaper i decided to do it myself. the only difficult task with changing this part is the bottom connector. A proper tool may make it easier however i was able to get it with 2 flathead screwdrivers. Now my check engine light is gone and it has been over 2k miles and still doing great.

Major pain installing but you will save lots for something so stupid
2016 Ford Fusion with only 37k miles on it and it starts making very odd noise, engine light showed up, aka purge valve. Funny how Ford Focus has recall for this with exact same engine but Fusion does not. Removal and installation is a major pain. First STUPID design. The hoses are fine its the stupid valve that's bad but they make you change entire thing. Reaching the left lower hose, undoing clip is major pain, rest are easy enough. Find someone with small hands to reach down there to undo clip. Putting it on is also pain as its such a tight space. Son and I did it in an hour. 50 min on lower pipe 10 min on rest. Dealership or mechanic charge would probably be 300-500 bucks.

Works and fits perfectly
Was hesitant because it’s not a Motorcraft part, but works flawlessly! Took about 20 minuntes to install, bottom clip is hard to get to, but piece of cake besides that. I would recommend 100% was having problems starting car after I refueled, but starts on first try now.

Solved starting problem on 2013 Fusion
Inexpensive fix. Part worked flawlessly, but expect to get your hands pretty cut and bruised getting some of the fittings disconnected.

Fixed codes on a 2016 Lincoln MKZ. But failed in 13 months.
This purge valve assembly failed after 13 months. I spent the extra money with the expectation that it'd be less likely to fail than the Doorman brand. I will buy from a different manufacturer.

Did it myself for 1/4 the price of the dealer
Worked great. The clips are a little hard to get off and the bottom one is a big pain to get to, but that's Ford's design. Took about an hour to swap it out and I'm slow. After OBD reset, the check engine light has not come back on.

Exactly what was needed for a 2014 2.0 Fusion ecoBoost
Like the other post above, I was hesitant to purchase this. Much to my surprise, the purge valve and assy is a Ford Motorcraft part. It has FoMoCo stamped on the purge valve and all the connections were oem connections and fittings. Fit great and works perfectly.
