I am an extremely deep sleeper and have had a few of the sonic bomb/alert alarm clocks. The part that works best for waking me up is the bed shaker. This shaker works with an app on your phone. So far it has been working great. It wakes me up every time. However, the app leaves a lot to be desired. It won't let you adjust the set alarm or shut it off unless it is "connected". It jumps back and forth from connected to not connected repeatedly so you have to keep attempting the edit until you touch it during the small period where it shows that it is connected. This is a pain in the &@$ to say the least. This quirk is definitely not due to my internet connection. I have tried the connection through cell service and through wifi with the same results. I however have no issues streaming video from any source with no delays. They really need to work the bugs out of the app and it would be a much better product. 3 stars based on the app issues.

I was skeptical of the product, since there were a lot of negative reviews on it on the web. I own the regular Sonic Bomb alarm clock with the wired vibrating puck that goes under the pillow, and have been using it 5 days a week for over a year, and haven't had issues with it. I now need something extra for when I'm on call to make sure I wake up to phone calls on the work phone. It's worked so far, even though it's only had to go off 4 times in the last month. Maybe since I don't use it on a daily basis, it's still working with no issues? Maybe it shouldn't be used on the daily? I dunno... I still use the original for my daily alarms, and the Bluetooth one for when I'm on call. No issues so far. If I do end up with issues, I'll update this review..

It sometimes goes off in the night when there is no call or text

I have purchased 2 of these. The first lasted about 8 months the 2nd about 3 months. Unfortunately i did not register the devices for warranty because most of the time warranty claims are a waste of time. The app is ok at best if you can deal with connection issues, it doesn't update for daylight savings, and make sure you have your volume up. My overall opinion is the product will wake the dead but the lifetime of the product sucks and the app makes you question if it will work. Will not buy again. Definitely going to a different brand

Didn’t experience any issues connecting with the phone app/staying connected. The vibration does a great job waking me up. The feature to vibrate for phone calls is super useful for work. Good product.

I have used this company’s products for a few years and have been very happy with them. Mine normally break from over use and I had really high hopes for this Bluetooth device despite some of the negative reviews. Alas it wasn’t to be. My sonic bomb has fought me right out of the package constantly dropping out the connection, not letting me setup alarms. Dropping out during the testing of the alarms and after a couple of days attempting it has failed to go off at alarm time ever. I hope they can fix this eventually but for now there’s too many problems.

Cool features and loud alarm. Just what my son needed to wake up. He was a little intimidated by all of the buttons on the back of it. After he read the instructions, he was able to program it and use it fine. Working fine since Christmas ‘18.

The app can be a little obnoxious when it constantly leaves a notification about you not being connected to it when you unplug it or leave your house. I'm sure there was a setting to change that. The alarm actually works really well though. Shakes the whole bed and has a loud alarm. My boyfriend works offshore on a loud boat and usually sleeps through alarms, but he hears/feels this. Worth every penny
