I simply had to try these suckers by Chupa Chups. I am wild about their puzzles, and some of the puzzles by PieceRelax refer to these Chupa Chups suckers. The suckers are delicious. They are not like most suckers. We all noticed they have a bit of a texture to them. Most suckers are smooth, but these have a really minute texture to them. When we came across a bubble in the sucker (just a few of them), it did't get that sharp, almost tongue cutting edge. Even when we bit into it and had those little pieces in our mouths, they don't have shape edges that threaten to cut the roof of our mouths or tongues. It seemed as if as soon as we noticed an edge, it was gone, smoothed over. I don't know what the difference in production is for their suckers compared to others, but we like it! We like the plastic sticks too. There's a hole in the top of the stick, and we thought it would be to make it whistle, but apparently not. They do, however, have some suckers, made differently than these, that the stick does make the sucker whistle, and I'll be ordering those shortly. These are flavorful throughout and very enjoyable. These are the best lollipops, unchanged from how they were in my childhood decades ago. The cola flavor remains my favorite, and the plastic stem (unlike paper stems found in other brands) ensures you can enjoy the lollipop all the way to the end without melted paper getting in your mouth. These are extremely good and tasty! The only downfall is it's hard to get the wrapper off.

First time trying the mini size and was a bit disappointed. They were fresh but don’t seem to have the flavor of the larger suckers. The plastic sticks were solid and didn’t bend easily if carried in your pocket. As far as variety I had mostly strawberry and strawberry and crème but only three cherry. Yes as others mentioned some pops have the wrapper so tight you practically need a knife to cut them off. Not sure if I would purchase again.
