I LOVE Jonathan Y lamps in general. They are gorgeous, look much more expensive than they are, and the quality is good. These particular lamps are even more so, meaning they are extremely elegant, stunning to look at. I can’t say enough good about them. I really don’t want to say anything negative about them, but I know I want to read honest reviews. These are kind of fragile lamps. I would not recommend these if you have kids. For instance the base is solid glass, which is stunning, but easily damaged. The rod between the glass base and the shade is relatively thin (but this is part of the design, so it’s not really a negative). Bottom-line, these lamps are not for everyone. They have a somewhat “extreme” design (long and skinny), but in the right setting, and with the right decor, they are perfection! I seriously considered buying a second set and putting them in storage just in case something happened to the ones I have, and they are no longer sold!

These lamps are tall, simple and elegant. The price point is amazing for the look of the lamp set. I like the fact that the shades are not plain white. The shades have darker lines thru them (kinda reminds me of a 50’s style shade) in a good way though. Have received several compliments on this set and have asked where I purchased them from.

These really do appear much more expensive than they are. We have moved them from our buffet in our very formal dining room to our antique side board in our living room and can’t decide which place we like them more. Don’t hesitate. Buy them.

Beautiful lamps, exquisitely designed and packaged every detail and part thoughtfully assembled and stored. Be sure to find the lightbulbs before you throw out the box! I picked up the little info booklet the next day to scan through and learned that they provided the 2 bulbs in the box...I was figuring I had to buy them. So, I looked through the pieces of cardboard and found the bulbs nicely nestled ... Good that I hadn't put the boxes out for rubbish yet!It's only day #1 but the lamps look good and cast nice light. So far, I'd say good value for price.

Absolutely beautiful. They are sturdy and everyone asks if they cost a fortune. :)

I am sharing my experience as i only bought these online based on others’ reviews. They are soooo elegant and beautiful. Definitely statement pieces. They brighten up my living space which is mostly white but i feel they will work in any setting. One lamp wasn’t strictly straight but i didnt complain as you can hardly notice it. That same one has a bit showing its seam but nothing ugly or anything and with this price i feel its justified. I am overly happy and feel money well spent.

I love everything about these lamps. They are so tall and beautiful. They have the look and feel of a quality product and the price is amazing. I can’t even find comparable lamps at Homesense for this price. They arrive in excellent protective packaging, and the company also includes two energy efficient warm white light bulbs. I found them to be a little bright so I used a lower wattage bulb. All around impressed!
