Living on a farm you will run into this nasty little fungus that if you touch your head will give you no hair on the side of your head that is not a cool hair cut. LEAVE on your pet the recommended time. 2 treatments and 4 dogs were cured. Remember it’s a fungal infection not a worm. Will spread fast without treatment.

I took my two dogs to a neighbor for boarding who had goats, turkeys, chickens, peacocks and two other pet dogs. When I picked my dogs up, they were itching and scratching terribly (no fleas). I had never considered that they could skin infections. The vet recommended micoseb shampoo and since they were out of stock, I ordered in Amazon. This stuff is a miracle shampoo!! After one wash, itching was reduced by 95%! Somehow one of my dogs developed a greasy coating on her coat that would not come off and this stripped that off! It doesn’t suds up very well but it works better than all the non medicated sudsy shampoos I’ve tried. I was shocked it worked so well but happy to have found such a great solution. I will keep on buying and so happy the best was out of stock so I could buy the cheaper version online.

Product is what you need if you have a dog that smells after swimming in a lake. And by smell, I mean a stench that you can smell from the next room over and impossible to sleep in the next room with. It was in their hair and skin. Your hands reeked after petting them and dog beds smelled awful too from where they would lay. I have 2 Labradors that swim in lake with muck on the bottom. Even though I bathed them with other dog shampoos (even scented ones), this is the only thing that has gotten rid of the god awful rotten egg/something died in their skin smell. I paid $16 for a relatively small bottle. I washed two 100 pound dogs. Need to leave on for 10 mins before rinsing, so a fair amount of shampoo is necessary to cover all body parts. Only needed one wash to get rid of smell. It took 1/2 of the bottle to wash 2 big dogs. Worth the money because it works. Way cheaper than sending them to groomers or vet.

I bought this as a recommendation from my dog's dermatologist. He suffers from atopic dermatitis and has to be on immunotherapy shots twice a month. Because of his allergies causing him to have bacterial skin infections, this is the only shampoo that I have been lucky enough to find and work to keep his skin under control. I wouldn't give anything for this and he is a much happier dog. No scratching or gnawing at his feet after giving him a bath in this. Key I found too is that you need to leave it on at least 10 minutes before rinsing and towel dry only. I would give this 10 stars if I could.
