Delicate but good sound
It's a nice drum for kids who play nicely. I don't think it will stand up to angry bashing but is well enough made and the membrane is pulled tight. Membrane could tear with any throwing around or just dumpin the toy box.

I asked what she would like her mum said a drum, I’m only going to hear her play it on my iPad she lives in Portugal we live in cornwall

Decent quality for price
Can't complain much considering the price paid, however, there are a few points to be aware of:The drum sticks aren't lacquered or varnished or anything like that so I'm not sure whether they might splinter over time. I'll probably sand them down and finish them myself.The drum skin is taught and fixed well, can't see any problem with that... Although I wasn't expecting it to have such pungent smell and honestly considered sending it back as I bought it for my small child, but I'll give it some time as I'm expecting/hoping this will dissipate!So those are the reasons I can't give it a full 5.

Great drum but skin already broken
My 1 year old son is a budding drummer but not really a hard hitter. He broke the skin recently which is not replaceable. I would like to return the item for a replacement as prior to breaking it was very good.
