McCormick Culinary Dark Chili Powder, 20 oz - One 20 Ounce Container or Dark Chili Powder, Enhances Nachos, Tacos, Enchiladas and Dark Chocolate

I've always liked McCormack as a brand when it comes to seasonings. You really can't go wrong with them. This chili smells good; smokey with a hint of garlic. I don't find the chili powder overly spicy but that depends on the recipe (larger quantities = more kick), however I do find it kind of adds a smokey warmth to a dish. This size will last us months vs. having to buy smaller containers at the store frequently.

This is a lot more aromatic, a bit spicier, but with excellent flavor than my usual, which I can no longer find (also McCormick)

Got what I wanted.

Solid product, good flavor. This is my first time to buy in bulk like this, so I'm really hoping that it holds its flavor over time. But we live outside the US and it is really hard to find chili powder here. So I bought this during our visit home and I'm hoping for the best.

McCormick is a solid brand. I use the heck out of this in my home made chili/taco seasoning mix. The “dark” chili powder seems to lend the more savory spice flavor as opposed to super hot other types of chili powder. I’m not interested at all in burning the pallet. I like rich deep flavor enhancement!

Rich taste, a great addition to chili dishes that call for a sub-mild spice. I cook for older people who don't really like to deal with spice most of the time, so this is the most solid choice in my pantry. It's even milder to them than paprika but it's still flavorful.
