RMS Deluxe Sock Aid - Socks Helper with Foam Handles (for Regular Socks)

This product is absolutely amazing. I have osteoarthritis in my right hip and it makes it very difficult for me to put on my socks because I can’t cross my foot far over my opposing leg. This product worked awesome for putting on my athletic socks. I wear with my athletic shoes. One tip I would suggest if you’re going to have short socks is to make sure you put the sock completely on the device so that the tip of the toes is fully up against the end of the device. Once you do that, pull the rest of the sock towards the back of the device, where the ropes attached. If you do this, you will be able to get the entire sock on, including over the heel. If you only partially put on the sock, you will still have to try to lean over to pull it over your heel.

Great product. Will last my lifetime. I am waiting for hip replacement and this product is so helpful. If you want your sock to slip completely over the foot you need to slide the sock completely to the toe when placing on the product. I started off just slipping the sock half way on the product and could not get it over the heel. Well worth the money if you struggle with stiffness or any kind of tightness.

I'm young, but I have bilateral avascular necrosis in both of my femoral head bones. It means I have almost zero mobility in my hip joints and as the bone deteriorates I lose more and more. I was struggling to get my socks on and my wife bought me this to help me. No more issues getting my socks on independently, and no more pain trying to bend far enough to pull them on by hand. I have wide feet and it's not an issue at all.

Well made, easy to use. The one thing that I would change would be the rope used to pull up the socks, while they allow a secure method, they are somewhat cumbersome. They would be a five star rating, except for the roe pulls.

Simple but very effective. The sock holder is made of a smooth plastic with no sharp edges, a grip on the underside to help hold the sock and the pull handles are easy to use . A nice feature is the ropes used are also very soft and not irritating . Works with all socks including ankle high socks. I am size 12 and had no problems with fit.

I have a bad hip and its been a struggle to get a sock on the foot on that leg. Using this aid I don't have to pull my foot up to my knee to get a sock on that foot. Genius!

If like me you have trouble, for whatever reason, reaching down to one or both of your feet to put on socks without help from another person, which can be embarrassing if not humiliating, this device is for you. My orthopedist recommend I look for one of these and I'm glad he did. It works. I no longer have to ask my wife to help with putting socks on my right foot due to a hip problem. This works flawlessly, an affordable solution to an awkward situation.

Easy to use. Slide your sock onto the curved plastic, put your foot into the plastic and pull on with the ropes. Just had hip surgery and can't bend over to put socks on for at least six weeks.
