Great for EDC, even if you don’t need the survival features
I’m a tradesman, and a multi tool is a must-have for me when I don’t have immediate access to my regular toolkit. I’ve always used Leatherman products because of their reliability and warranty should I ever need to use it.I previously used a Skeletool CX, but wanted a larger multi tool in the same “family”. Larger tools like the Surge, Arc and Charge are overkill for my needs, and are too big to pocket carry. The Signal was the logical upgrade for me even though the survival features don’t see any use on the job.One of the most important features for me was a pocket clip. I work in very confined spaces and a belt pouch would catch and potentially open up, causing me to lose the tool. The Signal’s built-in pocket clip meant I wouldn’t have to order and install an aftermarket clip.I use the pliers, wire cutters, knife and screwdriver on a daily basis. While I sometimes wish there was a standard 1/4” bit driver, the included proprietary bit has held up so far. It’s fairly easy to open and the locking mechanism is secure. It’s small enough to not be uncomfortable in my pocket but big enough to really crank down on when loosening nuts and bolts or cutting thicker cables and wires.Overall, I’m pleased with the quality and performance of the Signal. Coworkers ask to borrow it on a regular basis.

Great quality and build
Leatherman is a great company and this item is part of that legacy. Great multi-tool that in a pinch could be used in the wilderness to possibly get a fire going or signal people. Of course this would only be useful and used if every other option was exhausted. I keep it in an EDC fanny pack and it comes out regularly for the pliers and knife. Awesome piece of kit.

Great multi-tool
Great multi tool, not defects or damage as I’ve seen from other reviews. Everything works as it should. As the second Leatherman I’ve owned, I’m still very impressed.

Well built and very useful
Love this tool. I have 2. One for me and one for my wife on the farm. You always need a Multitool and I have many Leathermans. My go to Leatherman is a free P4. This is a close second.

Solid
Nothing to say, except the Rod depreciate too fast after several use for starting fire.

Great Tool - even when not Outdoors!
I work in an office but also love hiking and camping. I picked this up because I needed to replace my camping knife and find it has integrated into my everyday life! The best feature, in my opinion, is the hammer end. I don't think any other multi-tool has this but it's a great addition.Only thing I'd like to see - the tool can be closed with the awl out, I'd like to see this for all the inside options. It's a bit awkward to use the screwdriver or can opener otherwise.

A few personal gripes but is still a nice tool.
Only thing it's missing is a file. It would've been so easy to add a file but it doesn't have one which really sucks. There's also little specks of paint chips on the tool which is weird and I don't like how inconsistent the folding mechanism is for the pliers, it doesn't feel smooth to open and I feel like im gonna pimch myself. These are just personal gripes though so I rated it 5 stars because it's still a nice little tool in a fun color that also looks cool and should have a lot of function.
