The Interior Design Handbook: Furnish, Decorate, and Style Your Space Hardcover – October 27, 2020

As someone with absolutely no experience in design, this book was extremely helpful.It doesn't exactly tell you what specific items to pick for a specific look you are trying to achieve, but it explains the "why" behind interior design choices. I found that information so much more valuable. I also already had an idea of the theme for our home though, so this definitely helped to narrow down which items within that theme would also be esthetically pleasing according to interior designer standards.The only downside that I can think of is that, because there are so many concepts in the book, I had to sometimes read sections in small increments to fully digest all the information. However, this isn't really a "con."10/10 would recommend this book to everyone!

Amazing book! It is easy to scan and has lots of diagrams and pictures. I love how it really breaks down the logic behind the design elements. I’m respirating my entire home and I love that I bought a console table, was unsure how to decorate it, and the book broke down what kinds of set ups will give what kind of vibes. Helped me figure out the vibe I’m looking for and what to buy. Really loving this book and have already recommended it to a lot of people

Good information, discusses different elements that help make design great and it also emphasizes designing things based on your lifestyle.

the book cover does a lot of work selling this book. there's plenty of good content in here, but I found that it was basically a INT DESIGN 101 book and not as comprehensive as I would have liked.

Very detailed and helpful for anyone needing decorating guidance.
