MagicResin is a supplier you can trust
Super fast 2 day delivery, excellent communications quick to respond and answer questions. Very helpful blog and web page. Excellent pricing and the quality and reliability of the deep pour is excellent. I used a pressure pot and and they advised 50lbs pressure, I went to about 52 just raise the pressure slowly. I did an oak burl resin for a bowl blank to turn and the colors added mixed well and returned a perfect mold. Would I buy again absolutely.

Easy to use. VERY long cure time...going on 4 days now
Easy to mix - thank you to manufacturer for supplying in convenient 2:1 ratio. My pour is 1.5 inches and it's been over three days and the project is still easily depressed with a fingernail. I'm not in a rush but it would be nice to get to the next steps of my project. I don't dare start planing/sanding/trimming until this is hard as a rock. I'll keep waiting and update my review when the project is workable. Note, it has been chilly here, but my shop is never below 70 degrees. I did pour the project about 12" off the floor which IS cold. But I turned on some radiant heaters to keep the space 72 degrees or higher. The infra-red never picked up a temp greater than 99.8 degrees during the initial curing process...and that was only for a brief period within a few hours after the pour. Not sure if that helps. The project has been measuring room temp starting with the morning following the pour and since then.

Tried others. This is the best! No question
I have tried lots other products over the years. This is by far the absolutely best product I’ve ever used. You don’t have to torch it, it dries crystal clear. You can do 4 inches and it doesn’t yellow. I won’t use anything else now.

Crack and takes forever to harden
I have been working with epoxies for over 12 years and have had my share of mistakes, which most were my fault. In this case, I can say that I have enough experience to know when a product is just not cutting it. I poured two cylinder molds, both 8" wide and 14" tall and about half of the space taken up with wood. Both 3" pours and went into a pressure pot for curing. The fist one cracked in three places and even had bubbles after 7 hrs in the pot. The second took over 9.5 hours to set, and it also had bubbles. I know deep pour takes longer to set, but this is ridiculous. And there should not be any bubbles, especially when using a pressure pot. Im not even going to bother trying to salvage these or attempt another layer. This is what you get when you try to save a little money. Very dissatisfied and will return.

Resin Enthusiast
I purchased this deep pour resin for my ongoing interest in resin/wood projects. I've found this resin to be extremely easy to use with a good cure time and crystal clear results. I would definitely recommend this resin for novices and experts.

This epoxy takes 3 to 4 days to cure. It is in the directions of how to use
I used this epoxy to fill knot holes in a 2 inch live edge slab that I made into a bench. This epoxy functions exactly as specified and took 3 days to harden to the touch and it was 7 days before I started finishing. Read the specifications read the directions. Deep pour epoxies all take many days to cure.
