Excellent sound quality! Very happy with the purchase!
Expensive, but worth it!!For the last few Christmases my son had wanted a microphone for his gaming computer. Every year I'd buy the one with seemingly good reviews only for it to be unusable by the next Christmas. This year I decided to spend the extra money and buy quality. I'm so glad I did because my son loves it.Right out of the box it was ready to go. We bought a boom arm to attach it to, and he's used it every day for almost 6 months now without a complaint. It's durable and definitely built to last. The buttons are all easily accessible when he's gaming or making videos, so I consider it versatile for both users.I would purchase this again if needed, but because the build quality is so much better than all the others, I'm pretty sure this will lay him for many years.

Good mic, bad optional software
The microphone itself is great, the optional software to change the lighting absolutely bricks my computer. I have a razer keyboard + a logitechg mouse, neither of which have any issues with each other. However, once I add the ngenuity software from hyperx into the mix, it starts shutting off my keyboard and mouse over and over and over! Thankfully the software is optional, so I uninstalled it.The microphone is great on its own (although without any tweaking you can hear a lot of background noise, like I can hear people in the kitchen when this microphone is in my room with the door closed...) You plug it in and it's ready to use. I bought it on sale, I think it is worth $100, no more. It looks great!

Now that i got it to work Im so clear i cant go back to old Mics
couldnt get it to work at first.. im honestly not sure why. since then though i have made it work in part by disabling other microphones that were on things like my camera. not sure if that did it or what but it works now and it works great..... too great. people can hear me 30 ft away practically whispering. cool. but that part would be bad if my wife was hanging out in same room. dont get me wrong thats not a complaint! i probably just need to fidget with the sensitivity is all!

Great Desktop Mic!
I was using an audio technica micropohone usb for about 8 years now as desktop microphone. I pretty much had a streamer setup minus being an actual streamer as I care about how I sound to others on the internet. I wanted to refresh my desktop microphone and decided to go with the QuadCast. It was definately much bigger than what I was thinking but that didn't cause any issues or buyer's remorse. With the help of the HyperX Ngenuity software, I am able to control a few settings that allow my voice to not be to loud or to quiet. This software is not needed but it can definately help out. I've since removed the software after finding the sweet spot with my volumne. I've been told that the microphone sounds profressional and get asked many times if I spent a large amount of money ($300 or more) on this and everyone is pleasently surprised to hear that this microphone was more affordable than they thought.Overall, very good product. I haven't had any issues. Software isn't needed but definately helps with configuration. 11/10 would buy again if needed too.

Good little microphone, but recommend still having headphones
I've more or less really enjoyed this microphone, it came it fast, it was easy to set up, my sound quality or recordings and in calls has majorly improved. It's sturdy and a pretty good build. The lights are neat but there's not much customization to it if that's what you're looking for. All that being said, my biggest complaint is just how well it picks everything up. My headset had just went on me when I got this so I had a speaker surround system and this for all my gaming and calls and recording. While it's not as bad really about picking up random sounds, it does happen however, the real issue is if I watch a video or I'm in game it picks up every piece of dialog. If I'm in a call, no one echos or can hear themselves, but every back ground npc, cut scene, or just random voice line gets pick up clear as day. I've turned down my volume on everything, I've put 2 sound screens on it, tried all different audio filtering software, and I've messed with my gain and system settings, no luck, everything is still clear as day. Now it could be something I've missed but its been years of experimenting, at this point I've gotten used to not having to wear a headset however so I refuse to go back, but new buyers beware you may want to invest in some lightweight headphones to have as your output for any dislog

Worth it
Amazing microphone and definitely a big step up from my last, its worth the money spent 100% and the quality of it with a mixer sounds amazing!

Great mic
The audio quality is very nice compared to previous mics that I've had, and the adjustable gain at the bottom is helpful. I've mainly just used it for talking with friends on discord and the occasional zoom meeting required by my classes at university, but it's worked perfect in all situations.Downside: My only complaint is that my computer will not actually fall asleep when it is plugged in. My computer will begin the process of falling asleep (either on its own or if I hit the sleep button), but then instantly wake back up. I do not know of a workaround to this aside from just unplugging the mic and letting the computer sleep if I'm only stepping away for a little bit.
