Da Vinci Permanent Hair Colors(3.4oz) (7CR_Red Copper Blonde)

I have used DaVinci color for 20 years. Easy to mix and apply. I use it for root color every 3-4 weeks. Minimal fade. Kind to hair.

This is a lovely shade, and we really like the color. However, I wanted to warn people about one potential problem. This is NOT a self-activating dye. When I ordered it, I didn't know I'd need to separately purchase developer before I could try this. Lots of bright dyes are self-contained -- they either come packaged WITH developer, or they don't require developer. It's not hard to find (stabilized hydrogen peroxide) but it's not something I keep on hand for hair care, because I've never needed it before. Maybe it could be suggested as an add-on when people buy this? If it had been suggested, I would've bought it at the same time I bought this dye. Other than that, I'm happy with the color.

Color perfect, cream application, no discomfort, easy on hair (I have fine hair) 3.4 oz of product. Only once hair did get a little dry (not products fault) did double conditioning using my regular hair conditioner. Purchased during pandemic when salons shut down. Researched different brand found DaVinci read all reviews. My stylist (God bless her) helped choosing correct colors/portions/& how to. Perfect from beginning. Looks great. Salons finally reopened, had just colored my hair went for cut (needed layering badly). Stylist impressed, color and condition of hair. Continued coloring at home. Feel bad, see stylist for relayering (once or twice a yr full color & cut. Saving money!

Great colors, covers gray really well and stays on hair longer than any other product I have tried. Highly recommend this color line.

7v is SUPPOSED to be a dark BLONDE. I've been doing color since the 90s and have been to cosmetology school. I mixed this 1:1 with the Da Vinci clear and their 20 vol developer over my level 7-8 blonde hair. It should have come out LIGHTER than level 7. Instead I ended up with clowny Grimace purple level 4-5 hair. I even tried washing it about 7 times with hot water and it still won't lighten up.Started a return, then when I got to the stage to print the label, it said they only accept unopened items. SERIOUSLY? So I'm out $50 on all this Da Vinci stuff and have Grimace hair. And now I'll have to spend money on color remover.
