Works well to split paracetamol tablets/caplets for my arthritic dog (she is on other medication too and this was prescribed by the vet as a top-up for her bad days). Splitting tablets with a knife often ended in crushed tablets or a hunt across the kitchen floor, but this keeps everything contained. It is very useful to have the compartment to store the spare piece until needed. Some tablets split more cleanly than others (Superdrug own brand seem to disintegrate easily!) and this catches any stray bits or powder so I don’t need to worry where it’s gone and whether the dog will find it before I do. Good value.
