Looks huge but fits tight
On my 2.5 inch receiver, it fits over lip just fine and stops the rattle.

They blame customers for their low-quality products
Don't waste your money. Have always thought that Curt products were inferior, but thought would give this a try. It turns out my impression is correct, and they have lived up (down) to their reputation.Bought this clamp to reduce slop movement between a 2" hitch and 2 1/2" receiver with a Curt 2" to 2 1/2" sleeve. It broke on its first use.Tried to get a refund from Curt and customer service rep said it broke because I should have used a 2" clamp. Not sure how a 2" clamp will fit a 2 1/2" receiver. Wait - it won't.Will never buy anything that has the name "Curt" on it again.

High quality - works as intended in most cases
This will definitely eliminate your ball insert noise. It worked to completely quiet my truck down.Good quality material and construction.I rated it a 4 because I had to install this upside down on my 2015 Ford Lariat factory hitch receiver because the adjustment lever wont work upside-up. It isn’t completely universal in its application. The handle is zip tied to keep from loosing it. Looks a little janky but it definitely works.It is still a quality part and I recommend it with the above caveat.

Didn’t work for me
I bought this because of the design. Some how I lost it the first trip out. Not sure these are even worth the hassle. If I buy another one it will be the bolt down nut type

Weak component-breaks under load
Broke - just not strong enough. Didn’t make a year!

Broke 2nd day of use
I really like the design and function of this device. It is easy to use and seemed to work well. However, it broke the second day we had it installed. The part that broke (into 4 pieces) was the aluminum triangular piece that tightens down on the hitch tang.

Great idea, just didn't work for me
I thought I had found the anti hitch rattle device I had been looking for. I wanted a tool less design, so I was willing to pay the price. When I tried it out I had to adjust it to get it in place and by then the cam was not enough to tighten it up and readjusting it was not working to easy while in place. I opted to return it. I figured if it was going to be a hassle them I would just get one requiring a wrench. It may work fine in some instances just not mine.

Since I have such a small space to work with between my cargo rack and my receiver, this works really well!
