Great pitcher, size, and water quality at a great price.
We replaced an older Britta pitcher with this one. I love the larger fill opening and the open pour spout for the filtered water (the old one had a flap that would sometimes stick and misdirect the water). The capacity is great as we use 4-6 pitchers full per day (I love drinking water). The size/design fits better in the door shelf of our double door refrigerator. The water quality with the Britta filters is excellent. The one thing that I missed was that this model did not have the filter replacement notification feature. The do have the same type with that feature, I just missed that this one didn't when I ordered it. I've switched to the 6-month, long life filters anyway, so it's really not an issue for me.

Does it's job.
I use this to fill my pets water dishes. I feel much better using this for them rather than water straight out of the faucet. The water tastes much cleaner. It holds a lot so I don't have to fill it every day like my last one. It can get heavy if full but balancing it with my other hand helps. I had surgery 10 mths ago on both wrists and it doesn't give me much issue but if you can't lift just don't fill it to max. The size should fit most fridges but I keep it out. The design of this model is very nice and looks good sitting on my counter. If you don't drink/use a lot of water, I would recommend the 6 cup capacity. The 10 cup suits my needs much better and lasts about two to three days, filling up the 2 large water dishes at min, twice a day.

Great pitcher
Brita is always a good product. I needed to replace my old Brita because I have well water and the mineral build up on the pitcher looked awful. Did not effect the product but I wanted it to look nicer. The old one is 8 years old. So they last.

What we’re all thinking about brita water pitchers
Does anyone need another review of a brita filter? No, of course not but I feel like there are a few things mo one has said that we’re all thinking so here goes: the filters don’t last long enough and almost EVERYONE keeps going after the filter is supposed to be changed. So really how do you ever know your water is being filtered unless you insist on seeing the dates? And the size - totally unwieldy, doesn’t really fit anywhere well. And the filtering— what is it even filtering out?? Anything?? How can you even tell? Where is the large sample, long term study showing people who drank brita filtered water vs people who didn’t? Ok that’s all.

Great way to eliminate water bottles and frig filtered water dispensers
I love this pitcher. I have a filter on the side of frig, but it takes over a full minute to fill a water bottle. This pitcher saves me time and is far more convenient.
