This thing is hands down the best studfinder I've ever owned, and I've had a bunch of them. It's accuracy and easy to use features make it a no brainer when compare with it's competition. So far I've tested it on double layer drywall and wood lath and plaster.I definitely love the fact that it outlines the whole stud instead of estimating the center. Red led's stand out like a sore thumb instead of trying to see a poorly illuminated LCD display. Best of all it's idiot proof for my needs.

I used it it to locate studs in order to secure bead board to the walls and ceiling. The pro finder works better than any other one I’ve tried! I did have the advantage of working with someone who had one and after using theirs I had to have one.No disappointment here!!

Best stud finder I’ve ever used,very accurate and easy to use

The finder found most stud, but not all. Wall is new sheetrock that was painted 11 months ago. It found about 3/4 of the studs. The rest I had to use a magnetic stud finder to latch onto the sheetrock screws. This stud finder does work better than my 10 year old electronic finder and it did find a lot more studs that the old one. If it did find a stud it was more accurate than my old finder.

It is a lot easier to use then the other electronic stud finders. I have another but it too complicated to use. The proFinder is the one to use.

Absolutely love this stud finder. Super easy to use. Accurate. Don't buy cheap junk. Get a good one like this.

I do not recommend this. Very inaccurate

Pricey but works. Batteries are not included.
