Fits well with my Westone UM Pro earphones. Good for converting old MMCX hearphones with this!

Finally I have good earphones that can connect to my phone!Having to endure several high price mediocre sound quality earbuds, now with this adaptor I can take out my long shelfed Westone IEM and convert them into wireless!Yes, it does work with other brand IEM, but take note that the Shure app asks for your Shure IEM model as it has pre-set profiles for them to get the best performance. As this is designed for Shure earphones, if connecting to other brand IEMs you'll just have to find the closest match to the Shure. Also likely because of this, my Westone aren't giving as much "punch" compared to the old 3.5mm, also it lacks the mid tones and voice, slightly.Good thing is the Shure app is super easy to use and the in-app equalizer works great to fine tone for your type of listening.Comes with environmental noise mode. Customisable 1 tap, 2 taps, those usual stuff. The charger case is slightly large. It looks like a soft pouch but in fact a hard plastic case. Still easily fit inside a jacket pocket. They fit comfortably around my ears. the cables are quite stiff and will not swing around if you move vigorously. So in summary, it is definitely worth the price especially if you have an old high end IEM not able to use due to this 3.5mm transition. My equipment:Westone UM Pro 30Fiio X5 + 3.5mm Westone = amazing qualitySamsung Fold3 + Shure (this product) + Westone = best BT IEM so far

Great bit of Kit for my Aonic 3 earphones

Great addition to what was already a great set of earphones.I have the Shure Aonic 3 earphones and was looking for some wireless earbuds as sometimes wires, when moving about on trains for example, can get in the way.I tried the B&W PI6 and the sound was good, but the connectivity was hit and miss.I hadn't remembered that my Shure Aonic 3 can become wireless with this adapter, so purchased and I am one happy chap.Sound is and always was fantastic anyway. Fitment on the ear is not a problem and actually find this adapter to be more comfortable that the normal cable that the Aonic 3 came with. The App allows me to select the Aonic 3 as the earphones being connected and I get an EQ and the environment setup to tweak as I need it to.No faults at all and very happy with these adapters.

A step up from Shure's earlier BT devices

The charging, wearing, feature list and sound quality are all better than for Shure's previous two bluetooth adapter offerings that I used with my aging Shure 535 devices, but sound quality is still better when you use a quality cable with the headphones.Having said that, sound is good enough and convenience so great that I have packed away my leads. You quickly get used to putting them on, which is more fiddly than for standard buds, but these feel much more secure than buds and it is easy to forget you are wearing them - even if you wear glasses.Recommend these.

Superb - I returned the Gen1 set but I'm keeping the Gen2

I tried the Shure 846 and SE535 with the Gen 1 wireless adapters and compared to a wired connection the sound was flat and lacking depth. I'm no audiophile but the difference was simply so great it wasn't worth the money. I almost purchased a set of Powerbeats Pro for running but thought I'd take a chance and try the new Gen 2. I can't immediately tell the difference between wired and wireless and I'm delighted I tried Shure again. The case looks like the Gen 1 and until I paired the adapters and they identified as Gen 2 it wasn't clear that I hadn't been sent a set of Gen 1 by mistake.

Great sound, but not the best fit

Sound quality is excellent, but the adaptor “hooks” can’t be varied in length and these don’t quite reach into my ear canal which means the ear buds often pop out when I run, which is disappointing considering the price. this also reduces the effectiveness of the noise cancellation. Still a good purchase, but would have expected a less restrictive fit.

Great accessory and easy to use

The Wireless adapters were easy to set up and paired with my I-phone with no issues. The sound quality is excellent and can be adjusted by using the Shure app. It allows you to vary the sound, tones etc and is a perfect pairing for your earphones when using the wireless adapters .The storage box is also the charger and it stores enough power to recharge the wireless adapters 2-3 times which handy, the downside is the charger/case is a little bulky

No lag, immersive sound quality when paired with SE535's

Ever since phones removed the jack plug I put away my wired SE535 and used cheaper bluetooth earbuds. These bluetooth adapters when paired with the SE535's has brought my music back to life, with details and clarity that I had forgotten from using cheaper earbuds. No lag and superior sound quality. Only minus point, the case is a little large to pocket.

Bitterly disappointed.

I own a pair of Shure SE846 and they are for me, the most comfortable wearing and best sounding earphones I've experienced. They deliver a warmth and clarity of sound, and with the interchangeable filters to adjust the tonal balance are genius.Having read about the Shure True Wireless (Gen 2) Adapter, I thought i would have the best of both worlds by having that same aural experience but without the cables. I do acknowledge that wired systems will always (for now) have better sound texture and fidelity over wireless, but using the Shure Play companion app - configuring it to use the SE846's and tweaking the EQ as best as I could, the sound experience was abysmal. I played a variety of music but consistently experience distorted treble, poor bass, and flat midranges.I contacted Shure customer support who requested that I send the adapters in but wanted to charge a minimum of £50 just to look at them.I am frustrated and genuinely at a loss with what to do with these adaptors, so for now I'm back using the wired connection.
