This is a simple to learn and fun game that will work well for children and adults. It is very quick to learn and it is at a similar level to games like exploding kittens in terms of sophistication and you would call it lightweight which is the sort of game that you might play at the end of a games night. I only gave it four stars because of the price. It seems a bit expensive for me but there are games such as Guillotine which are a similar price or even more expensive which as also card based games.

A fun little game, that provoked a good laugh out of the vegan household members - "it's a game just for us!".Artwork is a little forgettable, but makes you smile whilst it's on the table. Card stock is good quality.Game can be played to various difficulties, depending on your own preferred game length. Not quite sure they've entirely nailed the formula however as the games seem to drag a little towards the end.Nice bit of bluffing involved, particularly if a player knows all the gangs they should be assembling. Very much a game of do you race for the goal, or bluff the other players into building the wrong hand.Definitely not played a game quite like it. The mechanics combine together to create game with a unique, refreshed feel, even when those mechanics (deck building, bluffing) are fairly standard fair.We'll definitely get a lot of play out of it, but it falls short of being a favourite.

This is an highly entertaining, interesting and fun little card game that appeals to the whole family. It’s not too difficult to learn either. There is even a introductory video you can watch to help quickly understand and learn gameplay. The game relies on you employing a little bit of strategy and a reasonable chunk of luck, as do most of these card based games to be fair. The idea is simple enough: assemble ‘gangs’, beat your opponents and root out the ‘cartel’ members to win. I won’t give too much away sufficed to say it most enjoyable. Our three eldest daughters picked it up with ease but my youngest lad who is 5 did struggle at first. Once he played a few games with me on my side he did start to understand the rules but I would say it’s better suited to ages 6 and over.You need at least two players but the more you have the better and more enjoyable the game becomes. You can have up to 6 players maximum which is immense fun if you have enough people in your family. As the game appeals to all it can be played as a family, as an adults only game (meaning it gets a bit serious as opposed to kinky - your brain went straight there didn’t it?), or for the kids to enjoy. I think the funny names and cartoon artwork helps with the younger audience as it provokes a few giggles and sniggers.In the box, which is nice by the way, you receive 98 great quality poker sized playing cards and a set of playing instructions. As I have already mentioned, the artwork on the cards is superb and the cards themselves are equally well printed and of a high quality and standard. Although they are meant to be handled, if you take care of them they should last quite a while. These aren’t cheap and thin cards, and as well they shouldn’t be as the game does command a fairly hefty price tag. At time of review this game will set you back £20. For me at least, I feel it’s a little on the high side. I think £15 would be a more reasonable price bracket. Don’t get me wrong here though. The game itself is lots of fun and I am sure it will be one of those that gets picked up time and time again. If you look at cost per play from that perspective then the price becomes more attractive and affordable. Up to you in the end I guess.Overall I really can’t find anything to dislike or fault with this game at all. The family and I genuinely enjoyed playing this and we have picked it back up multiple times since our very first play. I would be more than happy to recommend this game to anyone and everyone. Absolutely brilliant!

Perfect new addition to our weekly family games nights. Game was easy to learn, clear rules and instructions which suited all ages in our family perfectly.The fact that every round in the game is different is a huge factor in maintaining engagement and allowed us to continue playing without getting bored quickly. Tactics and developing techniques allow adults to have a more technical game whereas kids can continue to enjoy the animations in pictures and funny names therefore perfect for a family setting where all team members are catered to and engaged.Great variation to the normal board games and also would be perfect to take on holiday as is travel friendly. £20 is a bit steep for a card game however cost per play has already worked out cost effective for us as we can’t seem to get enough of this game!
