The Keeper Of My Sanity
I CANNOT say enough good things about this vacuum. I have used this daily for just under a year now and it consistently performs better than I ever would’ve expected, especially for the price point.I have a Husky and live in the south (don’t yell at me, she was a rescue) so it’s hot most of the year and she is constantly shedding. I also have a 12 year old large breed hospice foster dog and two kids with lots of friends who come in and out of our house so there is no shortage of messes. This vacuum picks up the absolute finest particles of dirt that you wouldn’t even see unless you wiped the floor with a white rag.I use it on tile, hardwood, high-pile carpet, and low-pile rugs. I’ve actually even used it in my attached garage on the sealed concrete floors (I don’t own a shop vac and needed to clean the garage, it is what it is) I’m pretty sure it would vacuum a gravel road if it had to. The amount of dirt, dog hair, crumbs, nano particles of dust it picks up truly blows my mind. Emptying the canister is so satisfying, all the dog fur gets spun together into a big fluffy mound and all the smaller particles are at the bottom. It can hold SO MUCH, it’s like a trash compactor, always making more room.Once upon a time I had a Shark Rotator Pet Lift-Away (a $300+ vacuum) that I loved until I accidentally rolled over the cord one too many times in the same spot and it quite literally ate through its own power cord (it stripped the black off exposing the inside and eventually stopped turning on.) I was convinced that I’d never have a vacuum as effective at cleaning as it was but the cost kept me from being able to buy another. Then I met my Bissell and was proven wrong for a fraction of the price. My Shark had a green light on the front and if I vacuumed over something I shouldn’t have or something got stuck, the light turned red and the brushes stopped spinning. (It didn’t react quickly enough to save itself from its own cord destruction, just enough to be a pain in the ass.) It wouldn’t start again unless you turned it off and back on. As a single mom juggling 2 kids, 1 Husky and 1 medically needy foster dog, a full time job, and a house to take care of, I need to be able to roll over the occasional small Lego or penny on the floor and move on like it never happened. I don’t wanna bend down to check. I’m tired. My back hurts. These kids won’t stop asking questions. My dogs are howling through the fence at the neighbors Bassett Hounds. Water is probably boiling over on the stove while I’m vacuuming cause I think I can do things faster than I can. This vacuum understands me. It knows I don’t have time. I speed through my house with this thing like a rat in a maze on a mission to find the exit. I’ve bumped it into walls, dropped it down the stairs, tripped over and landed on it, and it just shrugs it off and keeps going.Did I go 4 weeks without washing the filters and when I finally checked them, they were like a solid brick coated in powdered-sugar-textured-dust? Yes, I absolutely did. Did the vacuum stop working, lose suction, or give any hint at slowing down even with clogged filters? No, if anything it said “hold my beer” and tried even harder. I just happened to remember it had been a while since I washed the filters and then felt weirdly bad for neglecting it.I’ve run over the cord dozens of times and it’s never eaten through it. In fact, it’s never even made a mark where I’ve run over the cord. It’s powerful enough to do exactly what it needs to do without being excessively strong to its own detriment. You know how Speed Queens are thought of in the world of washers & dryers? That’s how Bissell should be thought of in the world of vacuums. Reliable, built to last through a nuclear war, will out-live your grandkids and end up in someone’s estate sale in 85 years.Pros:- Preforms better than my expensive Shark did. You are not sacrificing quality for cost.- Filters are washable and easy to clean. They’re also incredibly effective cause those babies look FUNKY after even just a week in my house, then look good as new after being washed and left out to dry.- Virtually indestructible, incredible cleaning power, hose is soft & super flexible, easy to attach & detach, canister holds a lot & is easy to empty, never has an off day.Cons:- The little green bristles on the spin brush attachment for the hose do break off. 2-3 pieces have broken off while vacuuming soft surfaces like the couch. The rest remain intact.- It’s not super quiet. It’s not the loudest thing in the world, like I can still hear KidzBop playing over the hum of it so I know I’d hear if someone was hurt or crying. But it might wake a sleeping baby or scare your dog.- That’s it. That’s literally it. Buy the vacuum. Live in chaos but with clean floors. That’s where I am and life’s pretty good over here.I also have a Bissell Pro Heat 2X Revolution Carpet Cleaner, a Bissell Pet Stain Eraser (cordless handheld cleaner) and a Bissell Steam Shot Steam Cleaner, all of which I truly love and have held up for multiple years so I don’t know why I was hesitant to go for a Bissell vacuum but I wish I would’ve done it sooner.Bottom line: Bissell is the HBIC here. Couldn’t do life without her.

STUPENDOUS VACUUM
SO I don’t usually write reviews BUT this vacuum has impressed me SO DAMN MUCH. I moved into a apartment 6 months ago and haven’t been able to purchase a vacuum until now, (disgusting I know ANYWAYS) with prime week happening I scoured amazon to find a good functional vacuum w the best price and wow this vacuum has exceeded my expectations. I included 2 photos, the first one being a small section of carpet in my living room that I started with, do you see the amount of grime, dust, hair, and debris the vacuum picked up in such a little area? I mean I went SIX MONTHS without ANY sort of cleaning done to my carpet and it was very apparent the tenants before me didn’t vacuum before they moved, so six months PLUS how ever long it had been since the tenants before me vacuumed. AMAZING. I absolutely gob smacked rn. This vacuum has been such a champ at cleaning my carpet and couches. The two hose attachments are nice, I especially like the spinning pet hair one. I make sure to dump the tank numerous times and wipe out the dust to keep it nice and healthy! Unfortunately a lot of the reviews state the belt on this particular model likes to snap off, which hasn’t happened YET, might be something I can’t avoid but for now this vacuum works great as well as it’s not too loud or heavy, it’s a solid10.

Perfect for rugs + great price
I had about 5 different vacuums ($75 - $150) sitting in my cart for months, trying to determine which one would be the best for what I needed and low(ish) cost. I've been using a super small, cheap vacuum for years because most of my floors are wood, but I have 3 fairly large rugs that it just did nothing on, so I decided to get a proper one. I also had a Dyson pet cordless before that kept breaking (hence I wasn't about to spend a ton of money). When the vacuum arrived, I put it together and was using it within maybe 10 minutes after opening the box (if that). One rug - ONE RUG - and this thing vacuumed SO MUCH HAIR and DUST and DIRT. I could cry. So for less than $100 - I am so so pleased.Highly recommend.

Works nicely
This was a lesser model than my previous Bissell that was 7 years old, but thought I'd give it a try. It picks up the dog hair from our Aussie, nicely, from the carpet and floor, my old one clearly was not working as well as it did when new, after seeing everything this one picked up. I miss the light on the front of the vacuum, and the the roller turn off feature, for hardwood floor, but the price I paid for this one I can live without these features. What I'm not happy with is the cored location. It is a trip hazard with it located at the bottom of the unit and is under foot when using it. I have threaded the cord up thru the back of the unit and thru the handle to keep it out of the way. I don't find it louder than my old Bissell, the canister empties easily, the dog hair doesn't wrap around the roller.

BUY THIS IF YOU NEED A VACUMM
my previous vacumm broke a month ago. I have two cats and one in particular sheds like crazy. I was able to thoroughly clean my space and I am very happy with the performance of the vacuum. i highly recommend everyone checking this out if you're in the market for a new one! It took 5 minutes to put together. My old one was heavy to use and this one is so light to push around despite being bigger. Great for the price and my carpet feels so clean, and cleaned it up very quickly.

Great job
My wife did not expect much out of this vacuum because of its size and weight. It was just supposed to be something she kept on our second floor so she didn’t have to drag our big one up and down the stairs. Much to her surprise it works better than our $1,000 dollar machine. Now this is the vacuum that goes up and down the stairs.

Best vacuum i have ever owned
Best vacuum i have ever owned. Easy to use, thr ease of maneuvering this vacuum is wonderful. The onky thing i could complain about it the canister could be a bit bigger, but I love it. Not heavy and easy to push.
