I gave this to my 5 year old great niece for Christmas. She adopted it, named it, and has so far gone through 36 batteries. Needless to say she is driving her Mom crazy! I am so happy I could get her something that she would actually play with. It's not noisy and durable as it can be. My niece is pretty hard on things but has not managed to tear this up! She's lovin it!

Very nice toy, I recommend

The media could not be loaded. This has been a fun toy for our kids ranging from 12 years old to 1 years old. The robot reminds us a lot of the robot “Wally” if you have a Wally loving kid or even if you don’t they would still love this. The robot goes forwards and backwards, left and right, and makes sounds as you move him. Three is also a demo button where he will do a few tricks on his own. The sounds that he makes can’t be controlled, but there is also a switch for the sound on the bottom of the remote that turns the sound off and on so that when he gets annoying you can switch the sounds off and he can still be played with and still have all his other functions. He takes 3 AA batteries and the remote takes 2 AA batteries. I think around $15-$18 would be a great value for this toy for what he can actually do, as 3 of the buttons on the actual remote are fake. Overall we are still happy with our purchase.

easy to operate, good for age 5 -12

In general, my kid does enjoy this robot; nevertheless, this product has one major drawback/flaw. While many toys nowadays have a standby or automatic inactivity shutoff feature to preserve battery life, this toy does not. If the remote or/and robot is left "on", they will just remain on until the battery completely drains and you have go insert new batteries. It does not help that this toy altogether requires a lot of batteries. After going through this issue a couple of times, I've decided that it just really wasn't worth the continuous expense and effort every time the remote and/or the robot is left on.On a side note, I do agree with some others that the robot is quite loud and I personally wish there was a volume control option. Instead, I had to put tissue and duct tape over the speaker.UPDATE- Seller has offered excellent customer service and addressed/acknowledged my issue with the product. I would be willing buy from this company in the future.

I purchased this to use for donation at Xmas time in memory of my grandson who loved Xmas and lost his battle with cancer 12-27-22. I hope to do this every year. I miss him terribly. So I have to find great deals to make the kids happy.

This little robot is great! A little loud but you can turn that off. My three years old runs it without any issues. The movement and durability are great. Highly recommend
