Hands down this is literally the best replacement screen. You can literally get off Amazon. I broke my girlfriend’s MacBook screen two years ago, and I took it to you uBreakiFix and they charge me $400 for a replacement screen that didn’t have Apple logos or MacBook Air in the center screen and they couldn’t even get the right color besides the point it worked well, but there were some functions that didn’t work. I recently replaced the screen. I wanted to see how it functions and it is exactly like a MacBook. It’s basically 0ME so if you’re really looking into it, it’s really easy to replace. I highly recommend this brand and if I do end up breaking it again I definitely will buy another and a screwdriver they give you is really really good quality, but besides all that everything else is plastic that comes in the extra bag but I really recommend this one and you guys would be happy so don’t waste your money going to the store and getting a business to replace it because all you have to do is remove about 20 screw screws sounds like a lot, but it’s way easier than you think

Will update if anything changes, but so far I am SO impressed with this screen replacement! I watched a YouTube video before purchasing so I had a pretty good idea about f how to do it. This came with all the tools I needed to get the job done, and so far it looks exactly the same as the original screen!I will be sure to update if anything changes glitches come up or the screen fails at some point. But fingers crossed all goes well!Side note, the camera quality is about the same as the original, not the greatest but not the worst either. I will test it soon with FaceTime and see if anyone notices a difference on their end.

Due to everything, I feel 3 is more appropriate than 4, BUT it did save me $400 dollars, so I'm bumping it up to 4 stars.---------------------------------I was playing with my dog one day and he got so overly-excited, jumped on me, and pushed me onto my laptop. We broke the screen 😫! My Apple Care+ expired two months before this happened so I have to pay out-of-pocket for repairs. I took it to an Apple repair shop and they quoted me a ridiculous $555.37 to replace the screen! Since I can think logically, I said no and purchased this screen replacement instead and decided to change out the screen myself.I've never done anything like this before! So I was scared to try! The instructions are very straightforward and very easy, though I felt safer seeing somebody do it instead. I watched and followed UberGeek's screen replacement video on YouTube which made this replacement soooo much easier. Sadly though, the T8 tip they include in the kit didn't fit in the screw to separate the screen from the bottom of the laptop because it was a tad bit too loose, so it ended up stripping my screws. I couldn't the screws unscrewed no matter what I tried! I tried rubber bands, hot glue, a bandaid, tape, anything I could to remove the screws but nothing worked! My last idea was to use a T9 tip instead hoping it'd grip the screws allowing me to remove them AND put them back on afterwards. I had to buy a $13 electronic repair kit from WalMart that included a lot of different sizes. This kit also does not include tweezers, and the kit I bought from WalMart did, so that kit saved me from 2 things wrong with this screen replacement kit. (I can't recommend the WalMart repair kit enough!!) All in all, besides the anxiety that I wouldn't be able to remove stripped screws, plus the T8 tip not fitting plus the missing tweezers, this kit did save me around $400, so I highly recommend it. It's easy!Don't be scared to try it yourself!!

So glad to have found this. I was able to resurrect a macbook with a broken screen. The replacement was quite simple, especially after watching a few videos on how to do it. The quality of the screen has been great and seems to be close to OEM.So far, there have been no issues at all! It is bright enough and colors look great. I find it hard to identify anything to complain about. Will definitely come back if I need another replacement screen!

I had low expectations , but the kit worked great. Took me an hour. You have to be very methodical and organized with all the little screws and cables. One thing I would have done differently, is I would look into putting some glue on the wifi antenna when putting it back in. The antenna is glued originally, so when you take things apart you have to gently rip it out. Now after you open and close the lid you hear a bit of a squeaky sound because antenna is somewhat loose.

I installed this screen myself a while ago and waited until now to finally review it. It’s a perfect replacement for the screen. It looks just like an official one and I see no differences between this and a factory one from Apple.

If you’re nervous about replacing your laptop’s screen and continue to put it off like I have for the past 2 years…Don’t. The process is pretty easy in my opinion. If you need to, just watch a few videos on the side to help you get comfortable. The videos you can find online align with the steps provided with the screen. Speaking of which…The new screen is perfect! The resolution is crisp just like I remember the original being. The colors are super nice too (my phone camera is not doing it justice). Unlike other reviewers, I have no issue with the camera. Just make sure you properly connect the display to avoid that problem, as said in the instructions.I just wish the included guide explained how to slide in the new screen’s hinges into the laptop. I had to watch a video for that part so I could understand. Otherwise, reassembly is literally just working backwards. Super easy.Can’t speak for longevity since it’s only been a day. I hope it lasts a long time.
