This beard wash really works – greys fade gradually for a natural look without harsh lines. It’s easy to work into a routine, just like any regular wash. Leaves my beard feeling soft and well-conditioned. Results are noticeable after a few uses. The bottle is small, but a little goes a long way. Great option for low-maintenance grey control.

This is good. There are lots of not so good alternatives hitting the market, which cost more but don't deliver. This gives a more natural look providing more colour with more applications yet retains enough grey so that it's not so obvious that you're trying to defy the ageing process. But beware on 2 counts. Firstly, overuse can cause a degree of irritation. My chin itched furiously one evening when I overdid it. No lasting damage but just uncomfortable. Secondly, wear disposable gloves to apply the product. If you don't, your fingers will end up black for days. Also take care to wash it all off thoroughly otherwise, your towels and everything this product touches, will end up black. I have reached a point where I only need to use it once every 7 to 10 days and that makes it easy and reasonably cheap to maintain 'my look'.

I recently tried this product with high hopes of reviving my greying beard. Initially, I was impressed; the wash seemed to restore a darker hue and added a nice sheen to my facial hair. The scent was pleasant, and it felt refreshing during application.However, my enthusiasm quickly faded after a few uses. While the first couple of washes showed promising results, I noticed that the effectiveness diminished significantly over time. My beard started to regain its grey color, and the wash no longer provided the same depth of color or shine.Additionally, I experienced some dryness in my beard, which was disappointing given that many beard washes are designed to nourish as well as cleanse.Overall, while "Beard Blackener Wash" offers a temporary solution for those looking to cover grey hair, its lack of long-term effectiveness and the dryness it caused make it hard to recommend. If you’re looking for a lasting solution, you might want to consider other options.

I had being using just for men beard dye. Medium brown would have been the closest to my original beard colour. The product worked o.k. but the finish result was not always what you might be happy with. Mostly was down to my own fault for leaving the product on too long before washing out. It needed to be mixed and sometimes difficult to remove stains if it got on hands of face.So i seen this new formula Control GX beard wash, and I was impressed to see that it was all contained in 1 tube. I found the product very easy to use, and it had no reaction to my skin, I have to say that after 4 washes I'm really impressed with how this product has worked. I had been leaving it in that bit longer with each wash, so that by the 4th wash it was looking exactly how I wanted it. In fact it almost matched the colour of my original beard. It looks so natural, and leaves your beard feeling soft, fresh and fuller looking.It's an amazing product. What took you so long to develop this? I give it 10 stars.

Worked great and looked good. Sadly my beard hair started to fall out after a few months.

I’m late 20s and my beard just went noticeably grey. I used colouring sprays, mascara etc all of which was high maintenance and looked unnatural. A friend of mine recommended this shampoo, so I decided to get it. It will not work instantly! You have to apply it consistently every day in the shower. By day 5-6 my gray's were darker. For me, after I finish washing my hair and body I apply this product outside the shower head rubbing it in with the palm of my hand, I wash my hands and then use the head of shower to wash the shower tray (it will stain if you don’t wash it instantly) - by the time that’s finished it’s been 2-3 minutes so I wash it off.

Well, used this for a month now as an alternative to beard dye. Not very good really - seems potent as it will stain the shower/bathtub/fingers, etc but never really noticed much impact to my beard - I'm not overly grey, just some patches by my jaw, but they didn't seem to be dyed much.I imagine using it every time you shower will be worse for a beard than a monthly dye as well.Don't think I'll buy it again
