Did the job perfectly for computers

Works very well with my Lenovo laptop.

Arrived quickly. Plugged it in (while iMac was switched off) and worked straight away. Had tried a previous product from somewhere else and it wanted me to download software etc (which wouldn't work) so had to send this one back. Was very chuffed when this one worked immediately and has been working perfectly ever since! Highly recommend!

Didn't work with a Macbook Pro 2011. Should have read the reviews first! Instead bought a "IVanky" adapter and it works perfectly.

Unfortunately does not connect to my laptop.

I bought two of these to use in concert with the built-in HDMI port on my MacBook Pro in order to drive 3 2560x1440 external monitors that only have open HDMI ports. Both adapters work great, and have no problem driving the displays at the target resolution at 60hz, but I can't use this configuration to drive all three displays at once.Replacing one of these with Plugable's "active" Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter solved the problem, so in some configurations you may require an active adapter rather than one of these. That said, I only replaced one, and the other one is still doing its job. These seem like a solid solution as long as what you want to use them for is supported by your hardware.(Also, these are half the price of the active adapter I bought, so I'd still buy one of these if I had to do it over again.)
