This is the budget printer you're looking for
I've had 2 Brother MG series printer over the years and I just got it in my head that all printers must be rubbish. I was wrong. Setup is easy. The paper storage bin is ultra convenient and tidy. Using it is simple simple for printing and scanning. It worked on my Windows 11 pc which I then converted to Linux Mint and it worked perfectly on that too.

WF-2950: Easy setup, no issues, I’m impressed
Arrived yesterday so this is an early review. Will update if I have any issues within the next 6 months.I chose this model printer primarily due to the relative few bad reviews, size, price, Apple AirPrint compatibility and next day delivery as I have urgent docs to sign and post asap. Epsom market this model as a small business printer, not in their home printer range so I expect it to be more durable. So far I’m not disappointed .From unboxing to printing my first document it took just under an hour. The setup was easy, just scan the QR code to download the app then follow instructions on the app. Connecting to Wi-Fi via my BT router was quick and faultless via the app. Most of the time was taken up setting the printing quality but again just follow the instructions and all’s fine. I’m using the demo ink cartridges and laser A4 80gm paper from work, which seems to work well. The screen is too small for me to read the text but not an issue with my reading glasses which I’m always wearing when at my computer. It’s not touch-screen but the buttons either side are large so no issues navigating the screen to get to the functions and settings even with my fat fingers. It’s not silent but not so noisy that it would interrupt an online meeting. B&W printing isn’t fast so not useful for printing large numbers of pages unless you’re in no hurry. No paper tray but it has a paper feeder at the back which is currently holding about 30 sheets and looks like it can take twice that much. Print collector at the front is functional but flimsy; don’t let the cat near it.I have printed docs via Wi-Fi using both my iPhone 12 and HP Elite laptop without installing additional software.I have not tried the copy and scan functions yet so will update if/when I do. I’ve not set up the fax function as I don’t have a landline.First impressions are faultless and exceed my expectations. Finger’s crossed it stays that way.Just one thing I just realised while taking the photos; the Print Counter seems to count sheets, not sides, so if you print double-sided it will count 1.

Replacement for Canon Pixma printer
Initially had issues with downloading drivers and got scammed by a sponsored website instead of official Epson site, so beware when you follow instructions that you go to right website.Once installed printer runs OK, quite quiet and working better than my old Canon printer.Like the document feeder for scanning and the large paper storage.

Great printer
I needed a printer for all the photos of my children that I have on disc. It was fairly easy to set up with instructions at each step displayed on the panel. Unlike other reviews, I had no problems connecting it to the Internet, it found mine straight away. I found it easier to connect to my phone first and then add it to my laptop which was a breeze. I've only printed one letter which was perfect and one photo which I think is too light but I suppose it's trial and error with anything new, I will go through the manual as see if I can rectify the problem through the different settings. The ink cartridges are easy to put into place and are far cheaper to buy than some I've seen. I did buy an xl set of ink cartridges which were reccomended by Amazon at checkout for £15, although I've not used them yet as Epson reccomend that you use the ones that came with the printer first. Overall a great printer at a good price.Would I reccomend to other buyers? 100% yes.

Epson cheating through ReadyPrint flex without consent taking money from you
The leaflet about ReadyPrint in the printer box is cheating. Epson company and Amazon company UK should take responsibility for the cheating which cause from Epson ReadyPrint because Amazon allowed the fault and cheating information existed in the product box and speaded to customers through selling only because customers trusted Amazon. On the another hand, Epson used customers' trust to cheating customers through Epson ReadyPrint. In the Epson ReadyPrint leaflet, it only said ' Ink-only plans start at just £1.29 per month'.I went to the website epson.eu/ReadyPrintFlex to UK page. It said free four months ink subscription with code 'EPSON4'. I had signed in for the plan month £4.49.But what I got was I needed to pay £21.40 for the first month. On the bill they said I used 314 pages. They said the 100 pages was free and the rest 214 pages costed me to pay total £21.40 which included £0.08*214=17.83(in fact £17.12) and tax £3.57(£17.83*20%). In the end of bill, they also wrote per page £0.1 so 214 pages was total £21.40. It means that I need to pay 10p for each printed page at home with my own printer(I already bought). It seems that Epson opened a printing shop online through ReadyPrint plan. I can print my documents on local shop with cheap price. I can print very cheaper without using Epson ReadyPrint. But the important thing is that they did not tell me if I print more than 100 pages what will happen next. They only told me I have four months free using. They did not told me when my usage was reaching 100 pages. If I knew I might change to another plan which was £9.99/300 pages a month. What they did not was that they told you nothing until the bill time then they took your money from you account with any reason which they made at that time. They thought your account was their pocket. They could took money from your account without any reasonable reason and discussion. When I knew Epson Ready Print would take me so much money without reasonable reason and consent, I phoned Epson company UK then they transfered me to Epson ReadyPrint. I tried to discuss with the person in another end but he rudely refused to discuss with me even put down the phone at once.I would like to ask justice from Amazon because I trust you and therefore cause me to be cheated by Epson.
