Yes it does. Lead but not the plug. Any USB plug will do. Good torch.

Not sure why you want this to be left on charge, but if this helps, I find that the battery once charged lasts such a long time when the torch is not in use, it shouldn't be necessary. I charged mine up, stored it without using it for about 3 months, and when I turned it on it still had a full charge. a really excellent torch, well worth the cost.
