Nice little camera and stand
This is an interesting arrangement. The camera comes on a little printed circuit board, but it is not attached to it. If you want to keep this arrangement, you have to take the camera off the circuit board, remove the backing from the double-stick tape, push the plug on the camera into the socket on the printed circuit board, and stick the camera back down on the board. It's not difficult to do, but there are no instructions, so you have to figure it out for yourself. Also, there are no instructions for assembling the little plastic stand. It is not hard to do once you figure it out, but it does take some experimentation to get it right. I epoxied a little magnet on the bottom the stand, and now the whole thing sits very nicely on the top of my steel Raspberry-Pi case. The quality of the picture from the camera is not great, but it is also not bad. It works perfectly well for Zoom calls and the like. One nice thing about this is that the camera is a genuine Raspberry-Pi camera, so the operating system will find it automatically. You don't need to patch code or get another driver.

Good camera quality
Works great and very good camera quality. Hooks up to my raspberry pi without any issue.

Great camera, but case may not fit
The device works really well. It is very tiny but the camera is very good. Installation is pretty easy, but the mounting plate was not built correctly and the connection to the legs was too big to slide in and breaks both legs to connect the mounting plate. It still stands, but I am not able to mount to anything.

Good camera, bad case
Camera is nice but the case is not good at all. Most pics looks like a hard plastic, mine was soft and it broke easily. As another reviewer mentioned, I had to reassemble the camera a few times and that led to it breaking. Also, the Pi 5 cable is rather short and makes it difficult to position properly using my canakit.

A Nifty Camera Module with Minor Quirks!
I recently acquired the RasTech Rasp Pi Camera Module for my Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, and I’ve been fairly pleased with its performance. The 5MP 1080p OV5647 sensor captures clear and crisp images and videos, making it a commendable choice for various projects I’ve embarked on.The inclusion of three ribbon cables and a clear holder in the set is a thoughtful touch, offering some flexibility in setup. The holder is sturdy and holds the camera module securely, which is a big plus.On the downside, I found that the pieces a little hard to keep together while screwing it all together, which was a tad frustrating and time-consuming.However, once up and running, the camera module integrated well with my RPi, and has been functioning reliably. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking to add visual capabilities to their Raspberry Pi projects. Docking one star for the initial setup hurdles, but once past that, it’s a fantastic little module that adds significant value to the Raspberry Pi ecosystem.
