The media could not be loaded. Replaced my current cold filtered water spout with this hot & cold spout after seeing it at a relative's home and can't be more happy with the decision because it made my wife happy. As they say, happy wife, happy life. I like the safety feature where the hot water handle has to be held and as soon as you leave it, it shuts down. The cold one works the same way as any regular water spout. The water heater under the counter doesn't have a really large footprint and installation is fairly easy if you are handy. The water temperature can be controlled with the knob, I keep it in the middle for now and that's still pretty hot. Max level would probably give boiling water 😆. It's from a trusted brand, comes with a good warranty and looks good. It's a bit expensive but when it comes to plumbing I would never take risk of installing cheap stuff and worry about causing thousands of dollars worth of damage in my kitchen. So totally worth every penny in my view.

So far so good. Ive had Franke water heater under my sink for years. The last three broke within two years after replacing. I switched to Sinkerator and it’s doing the job. But it’s too early to tell. Seems everything you purchase now has a short life span.

Removed it and installed an on-hand plastic fitting. Otherwise five star. This is the third I’ve installed as I like this product and installed one in our previous home and another for one of our kids. Works as expected. Follows an Everpure H-1200, another favorite of mine.In this case it was just easier to ad lib and finish than to jump through the customer service hoops. This is not a MacGyver but a good replacement fitting. Wife was getting impatient and just wanted her happy. She immediately piled in her stuff and then made me a sandwich.

My tank started leaking after two years, so I decided to replace it with a used one from Amazon since it would be easy to replace. When I received the "used" item, it looked like it had been through a war—scratches were everywhere. Despite its condition, I figured I'd give it a try and plugged it in, which turned out to be a terrible idea. It started leaking immediately.Amazon clearly doesn't care what they resell as "used" items. They probably accept returns without doing any basic quality checks, then turn around and sell defective products to unsuspecting customers.
