Purchased in November 2024 and must say it is a very nice fire.The flame effects are excellent and the heat output is very good, I have not had any of the noise issues with the flame effects or fan heater that have been mentioned by some others.The design of the fire is excellent, the bowed front is a really nice feature as the flames are visible all around.The fire is a decent weight approximately 9kg so is very stable unlike some other fires.When unboxed the only thing you have to do is fix the 4 legs to the frame of the fire which is very simple, the power lead is 1.5m long.Overall am very happy with the fire which comes with a 2 year warranty.This was purchased on special offer at £89.00 and for the price was a brilliant buy.Delivery was excellent by Amazon (Next Day)

As we can't have a real log fire we wanted something similar with a nice look to it. This fire is a good price whilst still not looking cheap.The flames are amongst the best we've seen on electric fires and we have them on every night. We've not seen any increase on our energy bill for this. I love that you can adjust the brightness of the flames too.The heat setting we have only used once but it heats up quickly and is perfect if you want to get warm speedy.The top doesn't get hot so we use the top as a fireplace to pop things on. Been using the fire for 2 months now and really happy with the product.

Stylish, lovely fire glow, silent flame effect, good value for money

The fire was well packaged and in perfect condition when it arrived. Heats the room quickly, and looks okay, only complaint I have is the fan is very noisy, I'll probably get used to it.

It’s a good heater + good value heat

Delivered today with the loud clicking noise other purchasers have already mentioned. There was no way I was going through the major operation of returning this bulky box.Took the back panel off and adjusted/straightened the long rod that turns the flame effect. Approx. 12 really short screws on the cover.There is no mains electricity under this cover, just a little 5 or 12 volt dc motor that turns the rod.I am not in any way advising anyone to do this. I’m only pointing out the problem and how I cured it.Nice looking log effect fire - and much cheaper than most of the other ones available. Happy chappie.

Received this today, so only my first thoughts. Got this one to replace a smaller version. This one has an adjustable thermostat which my other one didn’t. Very impressed so far and the realistic flames really make the room feel cosy. The fan isn’t loud but you can hear it it is a fan. Very easy to set up just screw the legs on and plug it in. Functionality is easy and I thought it was great value for money. Very happy!

The fire looks good but does have some issues I think other buyers should know.Firstly the flame effect is not even across the front of the curve and does not reach across to the edge of the right hand side like it does on the left. Having investigated the internal workings this is because the motor that turns the refection bar is mounted on the right meaning the refection paddles cannot go far enough to the right. This makes it look odd as there's loads of flames effect in the left hand window but hardly anything in the right.Some people have mentioned you cannot change the bulb. You won't need to as they are a row of leds which should last you at least 50000 hours of use.And yes the mains cable is too short.
