Soft material and worth its price, suction works perfectly. My baby likes to bring everything to her mouth (which is normal for her age) and the bowl stays on its place even if my baby tries to move it.Good for dishwasher and easy to clean.

These are worth the price for your everyday parenting meals and teaching littles who love to experiment with moving their plates around. The one thing that deters me from giving these 5 stars, which may be the combination of our high chair and the suction itself not being too compatible texture wise for the bowl's grip, is as soon as there is any sort of liquid or spreading of food near the base of the suction, it lifts off and cannot stick again unless both are cleaned and dried.My son is a master bowl and utensil tosser so though these do resist SOME of his antics, but they don't resist ALL of them. I think the main issue is that the suction base is extra large. If the suction itself was smaller, perhaps this wouldn't be as much of an issue.We use them multiple times daily and I still recommend them. It's in the developmental window of babies learning not to throw everything that these come in handy but also aren't fool proof.
