I had the old fashioned one called the*Salad Master" my mother gave to me to make my life a little easier. It came free with a tv advertised pan set that could be stacked on top of the stove on top of each other to cook a entire meal. It was a gift that kept on giving. This is the modern version of that Salad Master. The pan set name escapes me but it was a very nice set. I missed my gift from my mom.💔 Thank You for giving me back something precious! I am so looking forward to using my nice new unit!🥳the always tastes good coming from this,the speed of the unit is smooth, fast, durable,not too large,easy to change the cups,Strong Plastic Material with stainless steel built in to cut with and a nice tray of different cutters for the variety of veggies or cheese that's very sharp and well made also can be stored with ease and it is easy to use.

This little gadget is AWESOME. What a time saver. The suction bottom really stuck tight to my granite counter. The handle turned easy as could be and did not stick or get hung up on the rough potato skins. After a satisfying (and super fast) job of slicing, I took it apart to clean. What a breeze. I absolutely love this kitchen item. I do wish there had been a slightly thicker slicer blade, but that's the only thing I could fault. It has a small footprint so there's plenty of room to keep it on my counter top all set up and reaady to use.

I really like the product overall. It's easy to put together and use. It makes quick work of grating. Cheese does get stuck between the plastic and the grater but it's usually a small amount at the end of the block so it's not too bad. I did have one of the panels break off the little tab that snaps it into base of the grater but it still kind of works. And it does not stay stuck to my counter, which is butcher block. It's not too hard to keep it still with some pressure but it would be nice if I didn't have to.

The variety of blades is sufficient for my basic needs, which covers 98% of my everyday uses. The suction on the base is exceptional (I tried several other products and returned them simply because the ease was inadequate for me). The design and quality of the materials makes assembly, disassembly, and clean-up a breeze. Highly recommend

Love it! I’ve already had a few people purchase one for a gift! It is easy to disassemble and clean. We love the taste difference between freshly shredded block cheese versus the pre-bagged shredded cheese (with fillers). Plus feeling like a fancy chef is kinda fun!

I love it. I use it all the time. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE WITH IT STICKING TO YOUR SURFACE: 1. Make sure it is on a smooth, flat surface with no gapes, lines, or ridges. 2. Throughly clean and dry it’s bottom and the surface you’re sticking it to.

So far this is working well .It stuck to my counter allowing me to keep it stable. I have used it for shredding cheese, which saves money and also eliminates the cornstarch or wood pulp they put in preshredded cheese. Works fairly fast. It is a bit tedious to clean, but not bad. Easily changes the blades. I also used it to make my own hashbrowns, shred carrots and grate onions. I have a madeleine so will not be using it slice things in most likelihood.

This 5 blade grater is the best, makes quick work of cheese grating duties. Waffle cut radishes make a beautiful addition to green salads. But… missed opportunity to not have a fine grating blade option in the 5 blade assortment. Pillowy piles of finely grated Parmigiano Reggiano will need to come from another source.Hands down would be a 5 star review, even if buying the blade separately was an option.
