Oh Brother! It’s works so well!
Until now we’ve had an all-in-one printer scanner copier, but in fact all we really ever print are package return labels or package labels for items we are posting or email and work related documents, so this was bought to facilitate quick and easy printing of stuff like that, I mean who really prints photos at home these days anyway? The unit has a bigger footprint than other monochrome printers I had been looking at but I decided that being able to load a tray of appear rather than having to add as needed was a good trade off for us.Setup involved clicking the cartridge in ace, adding appear to the tray, plugging in and connecting to WiFi. All very easy and quick with good but brief instruction. I’d say I printed my first page within 5 minutes of opening the box!One factor choosing a monochrome laserjet printer was cost of prints. This comes with a ‘starter’ print cartridge, however it says will print about 700 pages, so initially this may take us a while to use up so Inrefrained from adding an additional cartridge to my basket. Replacement cartridges are quite expensive but when I looked at the cost of the 5 colours needs for my old printer and the fact that sometimes it was weeks between prints so the ink dried up, this printer won’t suffer that issue and in fact will be way more cost effective over time.I love the fact that it’s wifi connected to my home network and we can very quickly and easily connect and print from out phones, laptops and tablets with no problem at all. Eprint, Apple air print and other wireless printing tools are all catered for.Print quality so far is excellent. We haven’t printed any complicated images or tried to print photos in black and white yet although that was not what we purchased this printer for.Overall, this is a solid product that is a really good price if you are needing a small printer with effortless black and white printing.

Excellent Quality, Speed and Toner Economy
Due to shortages of units I purchased this FAX enabled model rather than an alternative I had been considering. I have not used the FAX, so I will not comment on it. I am so far delighted with this printer, the print speed is excellent for my needs; I tend to only print 4 or 5 sheets are at time so they've usually finished printing by the time I walk to the next room where I have the printer. Setting the printer up was a breeze, and as it's Wifi there was only a power cable to deal with. It has an easy 2-page per side mode that's great for economy when you don't need the full size, and it prints the paper both sides by default too, I will note that did prompt me to load up with 90gsm paper as the 80gsm was a little flimsy and see-through for my tastes. The Toner that came with the unit is still holding up strong, and it's probably still a few months off needing replacement at my page rate. The one niggle I've found is that sometimes it does not wake up when you send a job and you need to go to the printer and tap the power button, and resend/unpause the printer jobs. I've used the printer with my iMac and an iPad. The scanner also seems to be functional though I found the scans somewhat darker than my other scanner. They did seem to have all the detail though. Having the scanner directly pop the files on your computer was a neat touch. Excellent value for money particularly when considering how many prints the included toner allows.

Fast and quiet, works great on Linux. Provided toner should do around 700 pages.
Why did you choose this product over others?:I haven't seen this mentioned so I thought I'd add it works fine with Linux using the IPP Everywhere driver over WIFI.Search for IPP everywhere and your distro name as installing that will vary depending on distro. Then e.g. "lpadmin -p HL-2400DWE -E -v ipp://192.168.0.10/ipp/print -m everywhere" replacing the IP address with the one allocated to the printer. (You'll probably want to use a static IP or reserve one on your router so it doesn't change). It prints fast, and is fairly quiet. The included toner cartridge claims to be good for 700 pages (where as replacements can do 1000 - 3000 depending on which you buy).

Good
Great little printer. Super quick printing. It was not hugely easy or quick to set up (WiFi etc) but apart from that it is great. I use it for work and occasionally for personal stuff. I only really need black and white so it doesn't bother me that it doesn't print in colour. The design is great, quite small footprint and doesn't take up as much space as other printers.

Wish Id bought this years ago!
Bought to replace an HP colour inkjet printer. But I really didnt need the colour. Fed up with really pricey ink cartridges. Cartridges gumming up in hot weather so they had to be replaced and waste lots of ink on cleaning the jets.Decided I wanted a reliable B&W printer that would not need constant servicing. Happy to pay a few pence for colour prints if really needed at local print company.Overall, I am delighted with this model. Easy to set up and connect to network and phone. This printer is excellent. Well worth the money. Im still on the "trial" toner that came with the machine over a year ago. No gumming up. No cleaning of the jets. Prints two sided. Scans as well. No need for fax these days . About to start scanning old documents to save them digitally. The document feeder is going to make life very easy to do that even with 2 sided documents.Yes, new OEM toner cartridge will be expensive, but for my usage, It will cost me ess than the teeny cartridges of ink on the HP.
