Powerful, consistent chops, 3 multi-tiered blades, not so easy to clean
I chose the Nutricook product because I have an aging wired chopper that only has 2 blades and never seems to get all the pieces of veggie chopped. I have to pause chopping, open the lid, push the uncapped veggies down towards the blade, reinstall the lid, and continue chopping; repeat for multiple cycles. The Nutricook Choppi has three blades that are position at different levels (tiers) that seem to chop most of the veggie pieces the first time. You do have to be careful not to overcrop, which would pulverize your veggies. Because of this possibility, I only used the Choppi in pulsed mode of operation, rather than the constant-on mode.Cleaning is not as simple as my old chopper. With that chopper I could place the container and blades in the dishwasher to ensure that they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. It also had the benefit of not accidentally cutting my hand while cleaning the blades, since I merely had to put it in the dishwasher. The Choppi, on the other hand, requires that you not use the dishwasher. I feel that you must use soap and water and clean the blades and container to ensure they are thoroughly clean. A mere rinse will not clean them properly. The underside of the motor unit also gets very messy, since it is exposed to whatever you are chopping. A damp cloth will not sanitize the underside. So I made sure that the USB-C cover was in place, so as not to expose the electronics to water, and then I used soap and water with a dish cloth to clean it thoroughly. I then carefully rinsed the underside under the faucet and then immediately dried it thoroughly. This is definitely not according to the owners manual. But I would rather ensure everything is clean and sanitized and risk damage rather than risk illness from a buildup of bacteria due to merely rinsing the blades and using a damp cloth on the underside of the motor.I would recommend this to everyone, as long as you are prepared to use a cleaning method that does not agree with the manufacturer's cleaning methods.Pros:a) Powerful.b) 3 multi-tiered blades ensure through chopping and consistent size for the chopped pieces.c) Easy to operate.d) Charging doesn't require a special charging adapter; just use a USB-C adapter.Cons:a) Difficult to clean properly while trying to avoid damaging the electronics and cutting yourself on the blades.

CORDLESS RECHARGEABLE CONVENIENCE THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!
The media could not be loaded. This is a great little chopper to grab when taking out and dirtying up the big one isn’t worth the hassle for what needs to be done. This thing is done really well. The container has thick walls and is easy to clean, non staining and doesn't hold odors, the top wipes down with a damp cloth or a wet sanitizer wipe and then a damp cloth and there are no cords to contend with. I grab it out of the cabinet, chuck stuff in it and boom…done! Rinse and repeat. I love this thing for guac and salsas, making sauces and finely cutting up veggies to add to marinades, sauces and dips. This thing actually has the power to do some real work in the kitchen and isn’t a joke like all of its predecessors that I have tried over the years. The base has a ring on it to keep it from sliding around and the head locks in so I can press the button and walk away and I know in 30 seconds it’ll shut off by itself. It is USB C rechargeable and it is easy to see remaining power with the LED lights so I know when it needs to be charged and when I can be lazy and just chuck it back in the cabinet. The blades are sharp and there are 4 of them so that helps it to process more efficiently. It is impossible to run the machine without the lid being locked so the only danger in the machine is when washing it. Also, this thing rocks to make western eggs, just chuck in the veg, meats and crack in a couple eggs, wizz it all up and dump it in the pan…done!Overall, I really like this one and I have had a lot of these over the years and none had the power or capacity to make them even worth using. This one does and it saves taking out the food processor for everyday meal prep needs. I would absolutely order this again and I would recommend it! I genuinely like this one! A+++ chopping machine. I do wish it was a tad bit more affordable though.

Practical Review: Nutricook Choppi Cordless Chopper Performance and Usability Insights
I recently purchased the Nutricook Choppi Cordless Rechargeable Chopper, and I must say that it is a practical and user-friendly appliance for daily kitchen tasks. This compact device, designed in California, offers a mix of pulse and steady cutting modes that accommodate a variety of ingredients. The chopper's 500ml BPA-free Tritan cup is adequately sized for small to medium chopping jobs, making it ideal for quick meal preps such as chopping onions, herbs, or nuts. The SS 304 quad blades are sharp and perform well, handling everything from soft fruits to harder vegetables with ease.Battery life is a standout feature, thanks to its 4000 mAh battery. It charges fully in a few hours and retains power across several uses, which is convenient for those who prefer not to have cords cluttering the countertop. One minor issue is the noise level during operation; it's slightly louder than expected, which might be something to consider if you prefer a quieter kitchen environment. For those looking for a reliable, cordless kitchen helper, this chopper is worth considering. It simplifies food prep and is easy to clean and maintain, adding to its appeal for anyone with a busy lifestyle.

Pretty great
I decided to have spaghetti but was out of ground beef so on a whim I threw some cooked sausage in this chopper. Twelve seconds later I had ground sausage. This is so easy to use. It's easy to clean but be very careful about making sure the charging port is closed so it doesn't get water in it. The instructions say to only wipe the lid with a barely damp cloth, I'm guessing to keep water out of the port. I just covered the port with my finger on top of the port cover for extra protection and held the bottom of the lid under running water. I do kind of wish it had some sort of handle on it. The design looks nice but it seems it could be unwieldy if you have small hands. It was slightly awkward, especially removing the lid and holding it to clean. But it chopped up carne asada and tomatoes with the same ease and speed. I love how portable it is. Sometimes I sit in front of the TV when I have a lot of chopping to do. Not sure how long a charge lasts but it doesn't work while it's plugged in unless I did something wrong. For right now, it gets 4 stars because it really should have a handle. It's very tricky to handle if your hands are wet or messy, especially with only 1 hand.

Cup not dishwasher safe. Works well.
I’ve have problems finding an auto chopper that doesn’t just decimate my pecans when I need chopped pecans. This one does a good job at leaving you with pieces instead of crumbs like others. I usually hand chop for this reason but this one works well. It does leave a crumb residue but most of the pecans survive in small chunks. I especially like that this is battery operated and rechargeable with USB-C connection and cord is provided. The cup is made of a thick plastic so I’m surprised it says not for the dishwasher. It has a rubber grip on the bottom. The blade appears to be the only thing they sort of skimped on. It’s very thin and may not last as long as the rest of it. But I’ve only dinged it one star for the cup not being dishwasher safe. The underside of the chopper head is very easily wiped off and cleaned. It’s almost like a non stick surface. Overall it’s earned it’s cabinet space.
