Much to my wife's surprise and delight, this thing actually works! Doesn't get rid of the bite but the symptoms are almost nothing.

I used this on a deer fly bite. They are insanely itchy and uncomfortable. This bug bite healer didn't make a difference at all.

Works. wish it got a little hotter. I just hold the button down and let it do its thing for longer.

The gentle heat really seems to make fresh bites feel less irritating. It takes the initial sting and itch away right away. We have also noticed less noticeable marks or bumps, especially from mosquito bites. We have used this for very minor issues for adults and kids with good results.

This arrived in a nice little box that looks gift ready. There is a on/off button on the side to turn this device on or off. Two buttons on the front to push for the seconds you need for either adult or child. I don't have any insect bites as of now, but I tested this on my skin and the top part where you're supposed apply the bite to, would heat up just enough to feel hot but not burning.My son had some kind of bite on his skin and he just tested this unit and said it works! He said this feels a little bit hot on the skin, but it's acceptable. After the target area is heated, the itch goes away, and seems to never came back. This would probably work if you apply the heat right after you discovered you've got an insect bite. I am not sure if it would work that well if you scratched and spread the insect saliva.This unit is very well designed, as it has child or adult button in the front, with countdown dots that light up green when you press the buttons. The reverse is none slip texture, so you won't lose the spot when you are heating your skin patch with this. The heat area is even ergonomic. I think this is a very well designed product, and deserves 5 stars.

You might just as well put another mosquito on top of the bite and see if 2 bites in one spot helps. It couldn't work any less than this useless product.

This product doesn’t reduce itching and swelling like it described on Amazon. I purchased a different brand and it works, it had more heat and did reduce the itching.
