Don't backup your cell phone to the cloud, back it up to this type-c Flash drive.
I don't like backing up my cell phone to the cloud, so I bought this type C - type A 128 GB flash drive to backup my cell phone to. My current cell phone is the Samsung Galaxy s23 Ultra, and when I plug in this type c flash drive and go into settings and set the back up to the flash drive, after I factory reset the phone and repopulate my cell phone with the data that saved in the backup, my phone runs like new, I get to keep all my apps, text messages and history of my phone calls and I have no problems whatsoever. And I also don't have to worry about my data being stored in a somewhat unsecure, data center that could end up being the target of sophisticated and skilled hackers. Yeah just backing up my phone to this flash drive gives me peace of mind, it's convenient, and the entire backup fits on this 128 GB flash drive. I like Lexar Flash drives, and this one is no different.

This slaps ngl
Simple plug and play. Absolutely saves me extra steps and the hassle of transfers when it comes to going between the Mac and PC. Hate that it’s a necessary evil but at least this little tool save me some struggle.

connector issues
Data transfer does seem fast, BUT the usb-c connector seems a bit too large - it will fit, but requires too much force for me to feel comfortable repeatedly jamming it into my computer port. A bit disappointing since I own older drives of this same brand - quality typically is much better.Update: I've increased my rating to reflect the outstanding customer service from this company - after my first review, I was contacted and their customer service department was very communicative and eager to resolve the issue to my satisfaction.

Stopped Working After 3 Months
I purchased two of these drives in January. It's been 3 months and one of them has completely stopped working. It's dead. Cannot even reformat it. Since the 30 day return window has expired, I would have to send it to Lexar for warranty service, but I have to pay for the shipping. Not worth the hassle. I wonder how long the second drive will last?
