Very quiet and highly efficient.
As advertised, this fan is extremely quiet. It is so quiet that it should have an indicator light to remind you that it is running. I bought it to replace an old Honeywell fan of a very similar design. The Dreo moves a lot more air and draws 42% less power because it has a much more efficient motor.I have two minor complaints. The tilt angle has very loose detents every 30 degrees. Because the airflow direction is so precise, the detents should be every 15 degrees and much stiffer. The detents on the speed control knob are too stiff, making it hard to turn. When a fan fails, it is usually because the Oilite bronze bushings have dried out and the shaft has seized up. To fix any fan, take the motor apart, clean the shaft and bushings with solvent, add new oil to the bushings, thoroughly clean the fan blades, and put it all back together. It will run as good as new for a year or so. But eventually, after doing that several times, the bushings will get loose and very noisy. Since the Dreo has a better motor, I'm hoping it has better bearings too.

Great little fan. No complaint
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Added this to help air circulation in an apt without ceiling fans in FL (should be criminal). Placed on top of a tall bookshelf a few feet from the ac vent to maximize cooling effect by the ac air flow sucking into the back of the fan and circulating around the room. I keep on low speed and it’s quiet enough but there is a hum noise that took getting used to. Med and high speeds are quite loud and I use them when necessary. I’ve already felt more comfortable to raise the thermostat during the day to help save on the electric bill. Hopefully the investment and use will have a positive trade off. Overall I like the fan

4 Stars
The only negatives I have about this fan is that you cannot tilt it to wherever you want- it will only adjust to preset places and if you try to move it it will slip back where it wants to go and this may not be where you want to direct the airflow. The second thing is there is not much difference between the first and second setting, the first setting being very mild. Not a lot of power here but it seems to be sturdy, sits on a tabletop nicely and is stylish. I do not regret the purchase just wish I could give it 5 stars. And also Amazon jacked up the price when i reordered another one within a few days of receiving the first one which isn't the fan's fault but thought I would mention the sneaky price gouging

Awesome Fan
I was going to by a different company fan but read the reviews on this one and it was on sale. I'm so glad I purchased this fan. It is a great design and it really circulates the air in the room. My AC vents are in the ceiling so this fan pushes the air throughout the room. I like the 3 speeds and that I can move the fan up and down verses side to side. I bought 1 more while still on sale. I highly recommend.

Very good for the price
I received this a few days ago and it has been great at night. Even on high it is not as loud as the box fan I was using. On the lowest setting it is very quite, but air movement is pretty light. I found the middle setting to be just right, quite and moves good air to keep hot sleepers cooler without keeping them up with being loud.

Difficult to tilt up and down
Cons:1. On/off knob is located on the back2. Can’t reach the exact up/down position of the fan that you want, it seems to lock into 3 setting only - doesn’t allow you make micro adjustments up and down.3. If I want to turn down the fan speed in the middle of the night, I have to reach over to the back of the fan, blindly find the knob and use more strength than I realized to finally turn the knob.4. The order of the fan speed starts with the strongest airflow: 3. I never use the strongest setting so it’s annoying to have to start with a blast of air and then dial it to what you want. Would have preferred the gentle intro of 1 2 3 and not 3 2 1Pros:1. Small enough to fit on nightstand2. Motor has a nice air sound perfect for white noise3. The medium setting is all that’s needed to circulate air in my bedroom.4. Offered in the color white which is a must for me.5. I opted for a simple fan not a smart fan due to always losing remote controls. Sometimes you just want the convenience of using your hands to turn on a fan.

Perfect
It's quiet even at the 3rd and highest level. So obviously the other 2 levels are nearly silent.Being able to move it up or down is cool.Overall, I am impressed. It's sleek design is cool looking. And most of all...it works for what I want: a nice cooling fan for at night to be able to sleep and not listen to a freight train fan. lol.Really like this!Recommended!

Nice little fan.
This fan was about twice the price as the amazon knockoff I also bought. It is definitely built sturdier and has better aesthetics but in the end they both moved a lot of air for me while the A/C was down for 3 days.
