The reader returns a decimal representation of the cards ID, hex would be better for our needs, but it’s not a huge effort to convert it in excel or another tool

No use whatsoever, pretty red light though.
This is the 26th HID RFID reader I've purchased, all others from different suppliers on Amazon, and all work fine, and this one does not work on Windows 10. Granted the description says Windows 2000 and Windows Vista so it's my own fault to think that it would be designed for CURRENT (or even recent) operating systems. Yet another piece of erroneous electronics that will go for recycling.

WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!
This does not work with ANY of the RFID cards I have, and have verified on other readers I have. This is effectively a door stop!

They didn't work
Sadly unpackaged and set up then none worked for purpose we required. Now don't have original packaging to try and return so money wasted unfortunately.
