Have worked well with me for securing Scuba mouthpieces and such
I've ordered the 100 count 8" Low-Profile bags twice before, have used them up that I just ordered a 3rd pack. Of course you never know when a new order might now be made differently by a different source with a change in quality. But so far I've been very satisfied and have never had one fail in the field. My attached pictures show them both viewed from above and viewing more across. There's a small well in the low-profile catch that allows a properly trimmed-off tip to lie down below the well's sides; low enough so that you don't catch them with your lips on the mouthpiece. The tip also ends up in-line with the tie body; not perpendicular to it as with the standard square catch ties. If a travel Scuba tech ever uses square catch ties on my gear, I cut them off and replace them with low-profiles at my earliest opportunity.Low-profile catch ties used to be commonly available but are now hard to find except by special order. I try to keep plenty of spares in my Save-a-Dive kits.

Try these and you won't go back
So much better than standard ties. These are flat at the connection so it you dont catch things on them.Better looking as well.

Doesn't tighten well
I received these the other day. I'm using them on scuba equipment, 2nd stage mouthpiece, BCD tie-off, etc. The low profile is great, keeps it clean and remove the bumps and snags, but they don't tighten in the same manner. The regular zip-tie can be pulled backward to really cinch down on the loop. With this one, you can't pull backward on it. The only way to tighten is to pull out and push onto the head. Not optimal and doesn't get nearly as tight as a normal zip-tie. These are ok, but don't get if you need it "tight".

Perfect
I needed several zip ties for a low-profile application and these are perfect.

Five Stars
Low profile looks good and a good replacement for harley davidson zip ties.

Not as strong as conventional cable ties.
These are not as strong as conventional cable ties with a 90 degree locking mechanism. If you pull hard enough the lock will fail and break. This isn't surprising since you are pulling straight against the lock and not at a 90 degree angle like the usual cable tie design. Other than that they worked fine and provided a neater snag-free appearance.

Zip ties that don’t tie
Terrible quality. Wouldn’t hold anything!

1 in 5 breaks immediately when tightening, others work fine
I've had about a 20% breakage rate on these. When I go to tighten the tie, some just pop. The ones that don't break immediately seem to be fine, but it makes me wonder about the strength.
