I gotta say that right out of the box, this is a pretty nice little game set. Some people reviewed it poorly, but you get what you pay for. I have seen much cheaper sets, for not much less, I have also seen this EXACT SAME set retailing elsewhere for almost twice the price! So I certainly don't think this is worth $70 or $80, but it is definitely worth the $33 I paid. I like that it comes with so many games, instead of just 4 or 5. At least for the money, you are getting a fair variety.As other reviewers said, yes it is unfortunate that it does not come with printed instructions for the games, that would be nice. But, it is not a seller or Amazon issue. I did my research. This set does not come with instructions no matter where you get it from. That is just the way they packaged it. Doesn't matter if you buy it from Amazon, Target, Toys-R-Us or Kohls, no instructions. Life goes on. Just Google how to play each game individually. I actually like the design of storage for the set, it is very appropriate. Mine came with all the pieces, dice, etc., and I don't think the pieces are too small. In fact, my husband bought a $15 set that he promptly returned because the chess pieces were ridiculously cheap and puny. The chess pieces of this set are actually of a reasonable size, so he likes it, and we are keeping it. The dominoes.... okay, those are kind of a joke. But again, the whole set is $30 bucks, so don't expect a whole lot.I actually love that this set is similar to one my mom had as a display set when I was a kid. I loved it. I remember when my brother and sister and I were bored, we would just sit down, take the top off and pull out the pieces to whatever we wanted to play. It's actually a wonder we never lost any of the pieces. This set is just like a walk down memory lane, this is nice enough to actually display on a coffee table, without being so nice that you don't want the kids to touch it. We are happy letting ours learn all the games and play them together as a family. So me personally, I love the set. It is exactly what i'd expect for the price. No, this isn’t an heirloom game set. But it’s really lovely and has tons of options. For the price, it’s quite impressive. Would definitely buy again. We have really enjoyed all the options for games and its compact nature.

I bought this a few years ago and only gave it the stars for review but not any written review. I am now (2024) writing out a review.Ours did come with directions for every game included. I am going to laminate them so they will last. The quality is fine. The wood hasn’t broken, and all pieces were included. I mainly wanted Chinese checkers but wanted to have all the others too since we don’t have all of them. I bought this for my family, and my kids love playing games together. We play a lot of board games, table games, and card games together.I have no complaints, but save my 5 star reviews for something that really blows me out of the water. The boards have some scratches in the paint and small imperfections that show a slightly lower quality of craftsmanship. For the price I am not complaining, but just took one star off. I would buy this again for the price and recommend it to others.Since there are so many pieces, I would be careful if taking this with you when traveling. Make sure you keep the bags everything comes in and possibly put the whole thing in a bag so the boards don’t slide out.

As I wanted to have board game for having fun, I wanted to get a ludo. But when I checked its price. I understood that getting a collection of boardgames in one is more affordable than getting them separately. I read so many reviews on paper board games which were cheaper, however it seems that they are a little thicker than normal paper. So I decided to get a wooden one. Between wooden collections, this one was more cheaper and I am satisfied with its quality.

I bought it for my husband, I saw my grandma and grandpa play Chinese checker after dinner every day when I was young. I didn’t plan to buy so many types of games. But I notice it has a very good price for that quality. So I buy it only for the Chinese Checker. But the quality and print and parts of the product I received were above and beyond my expectations. It looks very good👍. Feel satisfied about this purchase ☺️.

I was really looking forward to this item. However it arrived with one side detached from two corners and I had to glue it back together. I think it would be better if the corners were stapled or something because it isn’t going to last with the any regular handling. I love the concept, though. The boards are beautiful. The colors are strong. The individual board pieces are nicely made.

This is a good chess set for anyone primarily interested in playing the game, and including checkers and backgammon is a bonus.The board itself is fairly sturdy, very smooth, and is thick enough to not worry about breaking it. When unfolded for play it forms a platform about an inch deep. It folds in half to form a compartment to hold the pieces for storage, and the magnets that hold it closed are strong enough that I am confident it will not pop open. The chess pieces are not particularly detailed but are easily distinguished on the board. The checkers are smooth on one face and carved with concentric rings on the other, so you can flip the checker over to make a king and easily see which side is up.Its only weakness is that there's no special provision built into the inside of the case for storing the pieces; it's just a rectangular felt-lined box. The set came with a plastic bag in which to store the pieces so that opening the case doesn't turn into a mess.
