Great inexpensive & reliable kit
I love this wonderfully inexpensive little kit from Raiseek. Just add a small bottle of your favorite gun oil (I like Extreme Force Weapon’s Lube) and another of cleaner/solvent (Hoppe's 9) and it's basically a complete set, very easy to keep organized in the provided carry bag and ready to clean up the gnarliest air rifle. The oil and solvent (in small applicator bottles) were each placed in their own sealed baggie in case of leaks. Then, to be belt and suspenders free from worry about leaks, I did the same with the cotton cleaning patches. Now I gathered up all the hardware and it went into the baggie the kit shipped with. Throw all the baggies, along with a couple of clean rags for polishing and touchup, into the provided black carry bag and you're all set.I recently decided to get a Raiseek 36" carbon fiber rod to speed up the cleaning of my .177 air rifles, but it turned out to be a mistake rather than an upgrade. As it should be, it was a snug fit in most of my .17 airguns, but I was shocked to discover it absolutely would not fit down the barrel of one at all, not even one little millimeter! I tried to measure the width of the rod using a small steel metric ruler, but my eyes aren't what they used to be and the figure I came up with seemed to be a skosh over 4mm. There are no quarter or half-millimeter markings on the ruler, and I couldn't see 'em if there were, so for all I know the rod could be the entire 4.5mm of a .177 caliber pellet. That's a mighty tight fit! Thank goodness I still had this excellent little cleaning kit from Raiseek around, because the approximately 3mm wide snake it uses instead of a rod works in every rifle I own. Sure, it takes some time and effort to feed it down the barrel an inch or two at a time until you reach the breech and pull it back out , but it does the job and I don't think it's likely to damage or ruin the rifling either, as I'm afraid the rod might.Good thing I held on to this kit, which works very well and hardly could be expected to be any cheaper. Also, now that I've measured it, I'm afraid to use the new, fancy carbon fibre rod in ANY of my .177 airguns, so I've retired it to .22 cleaning only and no regrets. The kit uses a flexible black nylon snake for cleaning instead of a stiff rod, so it is harder to push down the barrel and pull back out, but that's the only way to do it unless you have a break-barrel (or maybe a really large breech). Since it gets the job done either way, I have no problem with the snake. Just hold on to and push the nylon cable through with your fingers held close to the muzzle (keeping it stiff), so those two or three inches is the best you can do with each push. Just do it ten times or so and you're ready to pull it -- and all that lead and other crud -- right back up and out. Repeat until the mop or patches come out clean and you're done. Pretty simple. Other than more cotton patches and solvent when you start to run out (that oil should last forever), all you need to add is a little calm patience and you have absolutely everything you need to keep your rifles spic'n'span inside and out for quite awhile. The first time I used this on my oldest air rifle (a sweet Daisy 880), I could hardly believe what came out of there! Now, go get your own "Raiseek Airgun Cleaning Kit .177 Cal & .22 Cal with Cotton Mop Nylon Brushes Flex Cable" while they're still so affordable. Add to that a small bottle of gun oil, another of cleaner/solvent and some rags and your rifles will just love you for it! It also shouldn't do your muzzle velocity and accuracy any harm, so go ahead. Give it a try. :-)

Keep it Clean
I got this recently, to keep my Gamo air rifle clean, and working smoothly. The kit is good quality, and just right for an air rifle, .177 or .22 caliber. Keep lead from building up in the rifling, and keeping the moving parts working smoothly is important for any gun, not just firearms.

It's perfect!
This is exactly as described and pictured. It's got everything needed for 177 & 22 cal pellet guns and will work equally well with cartridge guns of the same calibers.

First Impression - It Works
Ordered this to clean my .177 Gamo Varmit Pellet gun. Saw a number of reviews on pellet gun cleaners that break. Suspecting they might be breaking do the tension of pushing a rod down the barrel I thought it would work better to pull the cleaning end through the barrel. So I slipped the cable down the barrel and then attach the end to the cable. Then I pulled it back through the barrel. A tight fit but it does work so far. I’ll post again if I have any problems.
