Weber Cover 26 Inch Charcoal Grills, Black

Years ago, I bought a Weber cover. It didn't hold up well. It got stiff, brittle, started dry rotting and cracking. I ended up throwing it in the garbage. So, I was reluctant to get another Weber cover. Well, I actually tried another brand. But, it didn't fit. It said it would fit my 26" grill, but it didn't. So, I ended up buying this one. I guess Weber knew they had a problem with the other version because this one feels different. The other one had a plastic feel, this one has more of a cloth feel. I don't expect it to suffer the same fate. Time will tell on that though. And, if it doesn't live up, I'll come back and update this review.

The cover protects and hides the grill in our small yard. The black color hides any stains or marks. Water rolls right off. Exactly what I wanted.

Ordered two. One back when I got my grill and one just recently when I discovered that somebody took it off in my winter storage spot and tossed it on the ground in a muddy spot. (Didn't want to deal with cleaning both sides of it.) Strangely the second one had an attached pouch to fold it up into if you put it away and the first one didn't. Both only have one velcro strap to hold them down after putting them on the grill. I would recommend two or more to fully keep it down in extremely windy conditions. However it works great and looks great too. I expect it to last a very, very long time.

Cover fits like a glove. Not asThick as my previous cover. Seems durable and waterproof.

Just bought it and I really like the fit and feel of the cover.

Update 2: It's now over 4 years, and I just noticed a small hole in 1 spot. Definitely worth the money.Update: It's now been 3 1/2 years, and this cover is still going strong. Had some fading in the blackness, and the Velcro strap came off. But that was easily remedied with the grommet kit I mentioned in my original review.As others have stated, this is the cover for the Weber Kettle 26". Somewhat disappointed though. While it does almost cover the whole grill top to bottom, you can tell the material is not very durable, and will more than likely need a replacement in a few years. The ones that Amazon supplies has great durability, and I've had them lastover 3 years, but it doesn't fit. So that's one issue. The other is that there is only one securing strap. I recommend that you get a grommet kit like the General Tools 71264, and you put at least 1 in for another leg to prevent wind from blowing it off. .
