I have been playing guitar for my own pleasure for almost 60 years. I always have always restrung my guitar by hand winding and pull pegs with pliers. This tool is so handy and takes so much of the work out of it. It is actually 3 tools in one. A string turner, a peg puller and a string cutter. All three work great. The sting cutter cut all 6 strings with ease. For those of you who grew up in the 1950s to 1960s it is a must have to keep your fingers from getting tired.

These are worth the price for the string clippers alone!!! Well made and cut like a champ. I don’t really use the string winder because I have a cordless powered one but this is a solid tool at a great price. If I lost these I’d definitely buy another.

I like the fact that it's an all in one tool so you don't have to spend time looking around for the tools. The string winder feels a little more ergonomical because of the handle and is very easy to use. The bridge pin puller is a plus compared to most once I figured out that you need a little more pressure to get it in place to grab the pins. The string cutter is basically worthless as I expected it to be. It cut the thick, low E string pretty well but all the rest would just bend instead of cut thus the 4 stars. But the other two functions are worth the price. I'd buy it again.

It does exactly what it’s advertised to do! Cutting my old strings was a breeze. Pulling out the bridge pins was relatively quick and easy as well.

Can't go wrong with these handy tools. If you've never used one of these they are quite handy. They allow you to quickly wind the strings up when changing strings. The tuning peg socket has 2 sizes for different peg sizes. The clipper end is a must! No need to use bulky side cutters/wire cutters with this. If your guitar is relatively secured (I highly recommend a neck cradle for any guitar work, even string changes, you can get one as cheap as ~$10 here on Amazon) then you can easily use this with 1 hand while you're using your other hand to keep tension on the string at the peg while you wind. I have a black one and I though I'd lost it but it was just hidden in my tool cabinet under a black guitar cable. So I ordered this white one to be more visible in the guitar tools/cables drawer. I've since found my black one, so now I have 2. Having 2 is a good thing. One will stay in my guitar case and one in my tool cabinet.

The cutter works fine. The winder was always a bit awkward, and eventually after a couple of years it broke. Yeah, I know because it was awkward. "learn to use it" I hear you say. I say "it was awkward". After it broke I made a nice wooden handle for winder part and it wasn't awkward anymore.
